Advantages: Cheap, similar to a Blackberry, internet

Disadvantages: Annoying keyboard, useless camera

I owned this phone up until recently when I decided to upgrade and a get a smartphone. A friend of mine showed me her new Blackerry one day and showed me what you could do with it and I immediately wanted one. The trouble was I was still in contract and ages away from being able to upgrade, that meant if I wanted another phone I'd have to buy it. I couldn't afford a Blackberry at the time but whilst looking came across the Nokia C300. It had the same look and similar functionality to a Blackberry and was affordable at only £89.99 so I went ahead and got it. It's since come down in price and is only £64.99 in Argos.

Available in Pink or Black, naturally I chose pink lol. It's a lovely hot pink too.

It's a nice size phone and quite slim. It has the full keyboard that you get with a Blackberry which it turns out I hated!!! I wouldn't even get a Blackberry now because I hate this style of keyboard. The letters are just too close together so it's tricking to just quickly type off a quick text and in reality using it I found the other style keyboard a lot easier a quicker to use. If you're used to this style of keyboard though and like it then this phone is a good buy. It has full internet capabilities so you can access your email or social networking sites on the go. MP3 and FM radio. You can fully customise your ringtones and set an MP3 as your tone if you like. The camera is only 2 megapixel and really rubbish to be honest. I barely used it on this phone. Battery life is great.

It's not a bad phone for the price and would be great for a teenager. It served me well and tided me over until I eventually upgraded but I wouldn't go back to this type of phone again. I couldn't live without my smarphone now plus I HATE that style of keyboard.

Summary: An ok first phone for a teenager
