Advantages: Good business man's phone

Disadvantages: Competing against the vastly popular Blackberry

After my Sony Ericsson K850i Died on me due to an unfortunate gym water damage incident, I began my search for a new mobile phone... If you are considering whether to get a Blackberry Storm or a Nokia E71, id read on...

I have had the Nokia E71 for just over a week now and do to a certain extent still consider myself quite a beginner in terms of the phones features/upgrades on previous Nokia's. People have compared the E71 as the Nokia equivalent of a business man's Blackberry. I tend to agree with this assumption, the E71 is not the phone for someone looking to play games or take photo's like many teen's and casual phone users want to do. However the E71 is excellent at certain things, if you want a phone that looks the business, is classy, elegant and does the simple things well, the E71 is what you want. Lets face it most business men don't have time to play around with the camera or new fancy features, they just want to read texts, call associates, or check their email, and even though im not your typical busy business executive, that's all I want from my phone as well.
The E71 has a good internet capability, it can connect to your home wi fi internet and you can surf the web on your own internet instead of your service providers, which essentially means you aren't getting charged by your phone company to go online anymore, as long as your in your house. Obviously if your round a friends you can connect to their internet as well and not have to pay either, but if your about town or on a train the age old vodaphone live comes into play. Emails seem to be much more accessible as well, I never really bothered checking my email on my old phone, but now, next to my inbox for my SMS, is my inbox for my email, and uploading your new emails takes seconds, and with the QWERTY keyboard, replying to emails and text messages takes seconds as well!
The Blackberry might have some sort of reputation and popularity at the moment, but I think that will be short lived, and while the Storm is taking all the accolades, the E71 is quietly competing from the side lines. Personally, I think Nokia are the mobile phone people, they have the best user interfaces in my opinion, and 9 times out of 10 they are the business man's choice. So if you want my verdict, think very hard what you want from your mobile phone, and then compare the two appropriately, personally I haven't been disappointed with the E71 yet, and I haven't explored all its facilities such as file management, google maps and GPS etc.
The E71 is generally a very tasteful executive phone, id give it very strong consideration, if it doesn't beat the Blackberry, its giving it a good run for it's money!

Summary: Give it a good amount of consideration

Some good information here and nicely written, but like rosebud2001 said, putting blank lines between your paragraphs will make this easier to read. Also, what about how this works as a phone? That would make this much more useful for me.

Good review but if you could space your paragraphs more it would be easier to read.
