Having had several Samsung phones before, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed choosing the Galaxy Ace. It's a sleek, modern phone - my first with the Android operation system, which I really like. The Android market is great for downloading apps (including some excellent free ones).
The phone has a great camera that produces clear images, and there is a nice gallery for viewing photos. The menus are clear and easy to use, as is the conversation-style messaging system that is common to many new phones. It also has several options for screen-locking, including a PIN, password or pattern.
It occasionally takes a few seconds to catch up when you are moving quickly through the menus or typing, but overall it's a great phone that I enjoy using. I would definitely recommend it.
(Mine came with two changeable back covers - white and black - it's nice to swap them now and again!)
