SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE GT-S5830
I have no longer got my galaxy, due to problems I had with it which I will write about later in the review, I have only recently got myself a new phone, and owned my samsung for just over 6 months.
The samsung galaxy ace is available in most phone stores as well as argos, tesco and online and the price ranges in between £100-£150 depending on where you purchase it from, if you choose to get it on contract then of course you won't have to pay for the phone.
The galaxy ace is a smart phone that runs on the android version 2.3.3, you can connect to the internet using the phone by using 3G or by conecting to a wireless network, and it has a 3.5inch touchscreen.
Like most phones it has a clock/alarm, calculator, calender, fm radio and music player.
The phone comes with a camera which you can use to record videos or take pictures, it is 5mp and also has a flash and auto focus.
With my phone their were a few apps which were already downloaded onto the phone, these were for gmail, facebook and you tube.
Their is also the play store which is good if you want to download music, games, pictures, apps and so on, The phone also has blue tooth.
When I purchased my phone it came with a 2gb memory card, headphones, sim card, battery, extra back cover.
***MY OVERALL OPINION***
I had a few problems with this phone but also got some good with it, I found that if using the phone to download apps, games or use facebook, twitter or listen to music the battery would drain really quick and I was having to charge it twice a day, which was a pain as it's not often im home during the day so whilst out the battery would totally die on me.
Using the phone to send and receive messages, make and receive calls and use voice mail was easy and I never had any problems with this at all. I also like that the messages come up in lists, so if your like me and sometimes forget what you send to someone, you can see what you sent without having to go into your sent box.
The camera and video recorder on the phone was fantastic, the photos come out clear and are great to transfer to your computer/laptop, to print out and to upload to social network sites, The videos are also clear and play well, The only thing I think that would of made this better is if it had a zoom on it
For the first month of having this phone I had no problems at all, and though the phones was the bees knees, after around a month of using the phone I found a lot of the apps kept forcing close, The battery started to drain a lot quicker and the phone started to freeze.
I did send the phone back to samsung for them to look at and they found no problems so I kept on using the phone, but it then started to freeze and switch it self off.
I will award this phone 3 stars, I have taken 2 off due to the problems I had and that I had to change my phone after just 6 months
Summary: Not for me due to the problems I had
