The Samsung Galaxy Mini is a good little phone if you do not want, or cannot afford the latest all singing all dancing smart phones. Sure the Galaxy S2 and 3 are much better phones but they are not everyone's cup of tea.

The mini has a good touch screen which doesn't lag too much and does the job it's asked. While the camera is only 3 mega pixels it still takes decent pictures although don't expect much if you are a distance away from your subject. It is unlikely that you will take too many videos with this phone as the quality isn't great but for the odd moment you want to capture, it is ok.

While the internal memory is only 160mb, like most smart phones you have the option of inserting up to a 32gb micro sd card which will enable you to save a stack of pictures, music etc. on the card although don't expect to be able to download hundreds of apps as it just doesn't have the internal space available.
As for the speed of the phone I wasn't particularly impressed with the processor and you can find yourself getting rather frustrated at the length of time pages take to load.

All in all this phone is adequate if you are looking for maybe a cheap phone for your child or maybe a second phone for yourself or alternatively you just want a basic phone which gives you all the features of a smart phone without breaking the bank !
