Advantages: Screen, camera, Operating System, apps, looks, performance
Disadvantages: battery could be a lot better
well... what can I say, it feels like I've been waiting all my life for this phone.
I upgraded my phone some five months ago now, I had a Nokia x6, which now seems a sorry excuse for a smart phone, and I loved that phone!
Ok, why is it so great? here's why:
4.3" Super Amoled Full HD 1080p screen certainly sounds fancy doesn't it? call it what you like it really is beautiful. Youtube, Vevo, iPlayer whatever you watch online comes through crystal clear. Transfer a video file onto it from your pc and its even better, hard to imagine how it could be better. Its not just videos, pictures, home screen, internet, whatever you put on it just looks amazing.
- OPERATING SYSTEM
Currently running the latest android OS, any updates available are free so you will stay up to date OS wise for your time with the phone. Android is super speedy, i haven't experienced a second of lagging, stuttering or anything in my whole time with the phone.
As i have mentioned it is as quick as the day it came out of the box, just superbly quick and efficient, very user friendly and unlike that bit in the i-phone advert 'sequence shortened' this phone does everything as fast as you click.
eventually we reach a downside, but it is the same downside that all smart phones have, the battery. i find myself having to charge twice a day, but having said that i am constantly clicking away, internet and calls all day, not to mention games. but i just carry around my charger, and spare batteries are available for around £5.
all the apps you'd ever need, i have 8 pages of apps on my menu, 16 apps a page, so 128 apps at the moment, and i add a couple every week. From amazon, ebay and App Market to tv guide and IMDB, and then games like Angry Birds, Plumber, Squibble and my personal favourite Word fued (like scrabble, you can play with anyone else on android)
a massive 8 mega pixel camera takes some lovely photos, even the secondary camera on the front has a fairly good picture. it also records Full HD videos, which are great. i have transferred several to DVD and look amazing even on my 50" tv.
a massive 16GB internal hard drive is big enough for 1000s of apps, 100s of songs and loads of movies. and if that's not enough it can hold a micro sd card up to 32GB.
It has a massive 1GB RAM, which is the same as most basic laptops!
no matter how technically good it is, i love how it looks even more, it's so sleek and thin, and the massive screen just makes it look like the most gorgeous phone available in years.

All in all, i would recommend this phone to any one who can afford it, i have hoards of jealous i-phone using friends these days who don't wanna put this phone down when they get a play with it.
i wouldn't swap it for any phone in the world.... maybe a galaxy S3.
Summary: get it now, your missing out if you have anything else, i wish there was a six or seven star option
