Samsung Galaxy S2: Finally, the perfect phone for me!
Samsung i9100 Galaxy S II

Samsung i9100 Galaxy S II
Advantages: Large clear screen, user friendly, variety, customisable
Disadvantages: Size, battery life
I've had a few phones in my life, all of which had something I could complain about. I always get a new phone and enjoy it for the first week or two, but then quickly get bored or annoyed with something about it. With the Galaxy S 2 however, I received the phone 5 months ago and still can't get myself to put it down.
Although the phone is not exactly petit in size, it's thin design allows it to fit perfectly into your jean pocket or mobile phone pocket in your handbag. A large and clear screen allows for perfect viewing in most conditions, even standing in direct sunlight the display is still crystal clear.
It might take a while to get accustomed to the Galaxy S2, it is very user friendly, but being accustomed to phones with different operating systems, it took me a while to realise that my Galaxy should be treated more like a small PC instead of a phone. Folders, icons, apps, backgrounds and almost all other features are completely customisable. App icons should be managed like folders on any PC would be managed - organise them in any order, on different pages, front screen, application menu or within specific folders (e.g. games folder, work folder, finance folder, etc).
The variety of apps available on the android market also provides days worth of entertainment. There are a large amount of apps available for free, all within the Google Android App browser which comes installed on the phone. There are numerous photography and editing apps. I am a photographer in my spare time and have never made use of any mobile phone camera, yet since I've had my Galaxy, my mobile phone camera has now become my main source of photos. With different camera apps and quick and easy on screen editing, photographing and publishing my photos has never been so easy.
My only negative comment would be the battery life, although I will admit that I use my phone constantly throughout the day. This taken into consideration though, I still find the battery life slighty short, as I have to charge my phone every night.
Summary: A great phone that offers everything I need and more, definitely my top recommendation for a phone
