This is my works phone, I have it on contract. The first thing i noticed was how bright the screen was and the clarity of it compared to my HTC.
Some of the features of the Samsung Galaxy i enjoy and use the most is the camera i was amazed at the quality I thought my htc was good but this is outstanding the colour of the pictures are amazing. I have a old nikon camera and find the Samsung pictures are much better. The zoom is fantastic and you can see every hair, freckle.
The browser is really fast on both the installed version and firefox it doesn't matter if i am using WiFi or 3G I find the speed of which it opens websites is fantastic at maximum it is a couple of seconds and i live in the hills of North Wales with not very good WiFi or 3G signal.
Another aspect i find really good with the Galaxy S3 is the fact it recognises when you looking at the phone and stops the screen lock. If i am reading a long email or information on a website it can tell when i am looking at it. I believe the new Galaxy S4 will have eye scrolling software which would be fantastic also.
I find the phone is able to handle most things a laptop/computer would be able to do such as viewing HTML emails it doesn't have a problem with the size of files or downloads it just does it in super fast time.
I often watch youtube or iplayer for example and i find because of the amount of detail in the images/videos my viewing is not impaired. In addition the size of the screen is not a problem.
The battery life on all touch screen phones isn't the best however with the Galaxy S3 i find i can call use the internet on a regular basis without having to charge it more than once. I would say it has a good battery life compared to my HTC which i have to charge at least twice a day .
The Galaxy S3 has some really interesting and handy features such as you can answer the phone by just putting it to your head and taking it away. When sending a text the predictive aspect is fantastic as it fills in the word you may type next for you. E.g I type How and the next word suggestion would be are followed by you which means you don't have to type them just press select.
Overall I think this phone is fantastic by far one of the best phones i have used and compared to an iPhone i find it easy to use with a great selection of apps.
Summary: Fantastic Phone
