Otherwise known as my first smartphone. I was worried about moving up to a touchscreen and the possibilty of pressing in the wrong place and rendering the phone un-usable, especially as I love to fiddle with my electronic toys and am more than a little clumsy. This bit of self knowledge did come to pass. I touched ... Read the complete review

I have now had my phone 18 out of 24 months on contract and I hate it!! I have always had problems with it being slow even with latest updates. Now it often freezes completely, will not close apps or end calls. The internet can be hit and miss, it refuses to use Wifi and often looses 3g despite saying it is still there. Quite a big phone over all and needlessly so!

A lot of people mention that this phone is great value for money. And at around £100, I guess it is an OK price. However, I have had this phone for about 1 year now, and after the honeymoon period, it has done nothing but give me trouble. Size Probably one of the best things about the phone is its size. It's not too big, ... Read the complete review

This is the first smartphone I have brought, and I think i'm going to stick with it as it's generally very good! I brought it for around £80, which I felt was a very good price for such a good phone (from Carphone Warehouse). I had it on pay as you go as I don't spend much! Therefore, I can say on pay as you go (02) it's very ... Read the complete review

Over 6 months ago I was shopping around looking for my first contract phone and I knew what I had in mind, a touch screen Smartphone, something new, free minutes should be average and the contract should be something like 18 months. In the end I negotiated to get my Samsung galaxy Apollo down from £20 to £15 but the contract was for 24 ... Read the complete review

As my previous contract came to an end, I decided to give a touch screen a go, rather than the good ol' fashioned button 'candy bar' phone. So I came to THIS which is by far the worst phone I've ever owned. Let me run through why this phone is dreadful: Firstly, it has the speed of a snail waking up from a heavy night out - I ... After my last phone finally gave up the ghost I was in need of an upgrade and totally new. Searching through the Carphone warehouse website I cam across this snazzy little number and decided to go for it. At £10.50pm who wouldn't??? Then I found out why there aren't as many people using them as I thought there would be. So here it ... Read the complete review

This was my first smartphone, so I had pretty high expectations. But this phone is actually better than I thought it would be! I wasn't sure because it was quite a cheap smartphone, but it is actually very good for the price! There are obviously some bad points, but overall it is a very good phone. The SWYPE feature is very fast and ... Read the complete review

The Samsung Galaxy Apollo is basically the budget version of Samsung's higher-spec Smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S, and offers many of the same features as that phone at a much lower price. I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Apollo last September and have been using it on a daily basis ever since. It runs on the Android operating ... Read the complete review

In autumn last year I upgraded to the rather flashy looking Samsung Galaxy and absolutely adored that phone... until just two weeks after having it the screen broke and was replaced by lots of different coloured flashing lines! Luckily Vodafone replaced it with a brand new model and everything was fine until June this year when I started ... Read the complete review

Low end smartphones tend to be somewhat a mixed bag, particularly in the past, being based on propriety software which leads to limited functionality (the death of any smartphone). So the first encouraging aspect of Samsung's low end offering is that, much like the rest in the Galaxy series, it uses Google's Android smartphone standard, ... Read the complete review
