Advantages: Features,look, everything!
Disadvantages: Battery life isn't amazing :(
I have had this phone for about 6 months now and since then I have never looked back. This phone just has everything. From reading my favourite books on the go, to capturing a video in stunning HD. I don't think I have ever been bored when I've got my phone on me. When it comes to phone, I tend to get very emotionally attached. I carry my phone with me all the time and love listening to music and checking facebook every ten minutes. Now, if I'm going to be honest with you, I'm a blackberry girl! I love the easy use keypad and was gutted when I had to let mine go due to water damage; it will be very missed :(
But, through all the trauma of losing my Blackberry I was able to get a new phone. I had seen the advert for this and never dreamed of getting one; but with one quick swipe of a credit card it climbed it's way into my heart. I was out with my mum looking to buy a new phone when I was having a conversation with the salesman in the o2 shop who was telling me all about this new "top of the range" phone. I was very used to people trying to sell me things so I sort of nodded along and pretended I was listening when he pulled out one of the handsets and told me to try one of the games. So I tilted the phone and thoroughly enjoyed driving my own Fararri car!
I had a quick peek at the price and was slightly shocked, It was just over £400. Now, everyone knows that o2 are that much more expensive than most other network providers but when you're with o2, you know you're safe. The mann spoke to me about getting it on contract rather than pay as you go, but I wasn't interested. My eldest brother had recently had a bad experience with contract phones and I wasn't about to put myself in that position. I knew I'd pay for it, but I bought it, there and then.
When it comes to features, this phone blows all the others out the park! Heres a quick list of some of the phones amazing features
- Wifi Technology
- Android
- Divx player
-HD
5.0 megapixel AF camera
- EDGE/GPRS!
- Touch wiz 3.0 for Android
- E-book
- Geo-tagging
Social hub
- 4" super amoled display
- 8GB memory
Convinced yet? Well I was! The easy use camera makes taking pictures a walk in the park, I always want to show off my phone when I'm out. I just think it's one to be proud of. So many people see phones on the market today for ridiculous prices and never buy them, just play with them in the store. My friends were all astonished when I showed them my new baby. This phones high capacity technology really is from another galaxy.
When starting the phone, you are met with a number of things to do. Go on Facebook and check your messages or watch a film in HD, what would you pick? Sometimes it's hard to find things to do, because there is simply so much choice. The 4" screen on the phone could have you confused with an ipad (exaggeration much!) It has most of the same features as an ipad, just that little bit more awesome. The one thing that really sold this phone for me was the fact that it's HD. A HD phone, what is this world coming to? I love looking at the quality of my phone, and gently sliding my menu up and down just to see the colours move on this wonderous piece of machinery. I love having a sophisticated phone which makes me look good. I find that when you are out with a high-tech piece of equipment, even if you don't look it you will feel a million dollars. Disadvatages? Well the battery life is always draining on me, it doesn't last very long; which can be a pain when you want to go on applications and play games and text.
Other than that there aren't bad points about this phone. I would've still bought this phone after knowing this because it's so awesome you can charge it in the car, well most phones can! They are available on contracts starting from £30 per month (the main reason I didn't go contract by the way!) I just think that is a little much to be asking of someone, and that's one of the lowest deals I could find. You can, however buy them on payg in most phone stockists for roughly £400. Online deals seem to be the best, but I'd rather do it through a shop so you can get cover and insurance in the process.
I recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a dramatic change in their phone life! If you don't like it take it back, that's what I do with a lot of rubbish phones I buy. Thank you for reading. :)
Summary: An amazing experience, a solid recommendation. :)
