I could talk for hours about what makes a good smart phone and what sets this apart from the competition! My last 3 phones have been Sony Ericssons ... a flip phone then the Xperia and now the xperia Arc S. This model is by far the best of the bunch. It's slimmer in design, making it much easier to use and carry. The camera position has (thankfully) been repositioned from the old Xperia as the lense used to be right where your hand held the phone. On the Arc S they have one of the best cameras in the market. I am a bit of a geek when it comes to wandering the countryside snapping wildlife pics. Some of my best shots have been taken on this camera-phone instead of my all singing all dancing digital camera.
The functions on this smartphone are amazing. I made the mistake of buying my mum an iphone recently ... only then did I appreciate how easy the Arc S was to set up and personalise. With the iphon you can't even use the phone until you connect it to a pc & install itunes. With the Arc S you charge it then pick your settings and you are ready to go. You have the choice of thousands of free apps from the android marketplace as well as being able to pick any song from your music library and set it as your ringtone. You can link your phone contacts to facebook so that you get status updates alongside their pics. But above all else, what makes this phone stand out from it's predecessor is the super fast gingerbread operating platform. I know ... it's gobledgook to me too ... but it sure makes your phone respond ultra fast to any feature you try to access. Overall this is the best purchase I have ever made. Go get yours now!!!!
