I have had the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc for around a year now and I am surprised how I still really like the phone. I usually get bored with phones and want a change after a few months but this has everything I need. The phone itself is fairly large although having a big screen is good for reading the small text on some websites and good when playing games. This also helps when texting or writing emails due to a full screen QWERTY keyboard being available when the phone is turned on it's side. There are sometime issues with the wrong character being put in but can usually be fixed by locking and unlocking the screen again. The phone may feel fairly flimsy and easy to break but I have dropped mine quite a few times and it is still in perfect working condition with minimal scratches due to a screen protector being used. Accessories like this are handy when using smart phones as the screen can be delicate and easy to scratch. Accessories for this phone are easily found on website such as Amazon and Play.com and are usually very cheap.

The battery life on this phone is a huge disadvantage due to it requiring a charge most evenings. This can be combated by downloading apps that close running programmes although if it is used for prolonged use on games, social network apps, texting etc, it will require very regular charging.
