Wow! What a phone! I had this phone for 2 a half years and I can honestly say it never let me down once I write this review with great pride talking about this as I became attached to this phone. This phone is for anybody who wants a cheap phone that can do everything you want in a smartphone. I gave since bought the Xperia z because Sony phones are great. The neo v had a great display, was really quick, and was a good looking phone, the blue and the black looks great. I would recommend getting a case though as the phone is very light a easily slips out of the pocket. The phone has a,good camera,an hd display and is easy to navigate around, it would be a good starter phone for those wanting to use a touchscreen for the first time, I can't recommend it enough!
I owned this phone for over a year ,abusing it by throwing it around the house on every kind of surfaces, and the first thing that i have to say about it is that it is realy tough. The screen, while being daily for 8 hours with coins and keys in my pockets and being abused all the time had not a single scratch(appart from some little ones ,invisible when the screen was on).The case was also tough, almost like having an extra case. Its hardware is pretty amazing if you consider its price and its pretty fast for daily tasks and games. The image quality is pretty great too ,giving you almost a high def experience on such a low price. Stylish phone, making (at last) curves seem nice on a mobile phone. Its camera is also pretty good if you consider its low price. Its hardware combined with the newest android version ,make internet browsing and socialising via social network apps very easy ,even for begginers. The screen is pretty big for a mid range smartphone, making it a good device for quick-browsing your favourite sites with ease. In my opinion,if someone wants a mid range smartphone, this is one of the best ones going around today and i recommend it hands down.
It has a GHz Scorpion processor its got a oderon 205 graphics processor. It is a very nice, smart looking and loud phone, with a front facing camera as well. 3.7 inch TFT touch screen with amazing clarity using a bravia engine so the pixel count is great and clear and sharp picture. The camera is 8MP with a very bright flash and shoots video in HD 720p . On the top of the phone there is a HDMI output you can plug the phone into any HDMI capable TV and view photos and watch videos on the TV. It size is very similar to the iphone height and width. This phone is great for using the internet, playing games, texting. If Sony ericsson where to make a mobile phone then this would be it. If you are looking for an excellent smart phone and cannot afford the iphone then this is a very good runner up you will not be disappointed.
This phone is by far one of the very best I have ever had. Simple. One of the main reasons I chose this phone was because of the price and deal on the contract, but after having the phone for just over a year, I can say it's a perfect smart phone, it's powerful enough for the gamer but not so over powered that half of its ability is wasted. In my experience with this phone, I have dropped it on the floor countless times, dropped it in the toilet, even thrown it across the room and it didn't get so much as a scratch and works perfectly. As for the features, the camera is excellent and perfectly compliments the HD screen that it boasts. The features of this phone, with it being an Android, are practically endless, don't be fooled when someone tells you that the latest phone is the best phone ever, because they're wrong, plain and simple, this phone, even though it is only mid-ranged in the phone armoury, is more than capable of doing more than you can imagine.
I've had this phone for about nine months now and I have found it to be an excellent phone, beating my expectations. I did not buy it to have the best phone out there, I bought it to have a good phone, with access to android market and a decent camera, on a reasonable contract. This phone has not disappointed. The phone is VERY simple to use unless you particularly struggle with technology. I originally found it to be similar to my boyfriend's HTC desire, believing his phone to be slightly better, but I have eventually changed my mind deciding that my phone is superior in many ways. Most of all it is reliable, I've only had it crash on me twice and that was probably because I was overloading it- I'm not too patient. I've dropped it about 10 times, my daughter has attacked it with her new teeth and it is still working as new. While it's battery life can be poor- an almost universal problem with touchscreen phones, it is not TOO bad, it will still last over a day, which is better than many phones. The same with the dreaded 'force closes', it happens, but no more than any other Android phone. The only thing I do not thing is amazing on this phone is the camera, but I am spoiled with my last phone being the Satio. It annoys me because you cannot zoom unless you take the picture at 2mp. This makes it difficult sneaking cute pictures of my LO playing. I also find the gallery a bit annoying to use, you can't organise your images how you want to have them. Similarly, it can be difficult to find and organise downloaded files, but this can be helped by downloading a file managing app. Overall I recommend this phone if you're not looking for the latest thing, and if you have a digital camera you're happy with.
I have had my Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo mobile phone for around about a year now. In my late teens I knew all about mobile phones and which phones were the best on the market. I admit now, over a decade later I have lost my interest in phones and just want a phone that looks nice, is easy to use and isn't too big or too small. I have owned previous phones with internet access but this is my first android phone. I have to admit I love this phone! I rarely browse the internet on my home pc anymore; instead I connect my Sony Ericsson mobile to my wireless broadband and browse the internet on my phone whilst sat in front of the tv in the evening. When I am on the go and am lost I find it quicker to use my google maps app or navigation app connecting via GPS or an available free wireless network than to bother using my sat nav. It is very easy to use social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and my phone came with the apps already downloaded. The phone easily fits into the pocket of my work trousers and I like the weight of the phone in my hand; not too heavy and not too light and flimsy. I like the look of the phone and it has an attractive fade from black to blue on the back of the phone. The camera is fantastic- better than my digital camera! This means I don't need to take my camera out with me. The only downside I find with my phone is that it doesn't have the battery power of previous phones. If I leave the wireless, GPS and data transfer left on all the time I find I have to charge the phone everyday. I now try to turn those features off when I am not using them and find I only need to charge every 2 days. All in all I would recommend this phone although nowadays you could probably get a higher spec phone if you are looking to pay full price.
The Xperia neo smartphone is powered by Sony multimedia technology. It's great to look at. Even better to hold, and when you want more, there's the whole world of Android. On the smart Xperia neo touch phone.
