***What is it***
The Sony Ericsson Mini Pro X10 is a great looking smartphone, small compact (9cm/5cm/1.7cm) and packed with many features inc. android. It is also available in other colors though i chose black.
***Suitable For***
This is a great design that will appeal to anybody though the slight design maybe a problem to those with big fingers/hands. I wouldn't recommend this as a starter phone for anybody due to the amount of features incorporated in the phone that may confuse beginners.
***Using it***
The slide out QWERTY keyboard is a great feature but really meant for people with small/medium sized fingers, not a problem for me but with those with large fingers tend to press more than one key/ or the wrong key though it is not necessary to use the keypad as the touch screen keyboard is very easy to use and has all the functions of the slide out keyboard and all touches register with ease.
The main 2.55inch touch screen is nice, smooth and perfectly reactive to a normal touch though the sensitivity right at the corners of the screen is not great so you may need to tap a couple of times to register the touch. When using the touchscreen only the screen remains in portrait style but slide out the keyboard and it automatically changes to landscape, though if for some reason you don't like this there is a feature in settings that allows you to turn this off.
The inbuilt 5 megapixel camera is great quality and includes a flash to take a picture even in the darkest rooms...the picture album set up is great as you can scroll smoothly throughout all your pictures and also has the capacity to record videos.
The mp3 playback is great both through the phone speaker and headphones that are provided (good quality in ear to reduce surrounding sounds connected with standard 3.5mm jack) You may find like me you like your music louder than the original settings so i had to first go into sound and display settings/media volume to raise the music volume and is at that point as nice and loud as you could want it. The phone comes with 128mb internal memory that will hardly hold anything and a 2gb micro sd memory card suitable for holding around 200 songs approx. depending on format, though you can swap this out for a larger card up to 16gb.
The battery life could be better, though this is not something that bothers me as i charge my phone everyday depending how much i use the features (mp3,apps,calls) the battery will last between 1 and a half days and 3 days.

*** Overall***
There are some slight problems as detailed above though this does not effect the overall use and functions of this handset so i would be very happy to buy this again or recommend it to someone i know
Summary: Smart, sleek, would buy again!!!
