Got Google? Get G1 (T-Mobile G1)
Member Name: mrjoegoodwin
Advantages: Interaction with Google account, slide out keyboard, great contracts Disadvantages: Less stylish than the iPhone iPhone or G1? That was my choice when upgrading my mobile recently, and I'm so pleased I chose the G1. Primarily a cost decision (T-Mobile's excellent range of flexi contracts proving more suitable for me than O2's equivalent for the iPhone), the G1 has more than lived up to the hopes I had for it. The slide out keyboard offers much more flexible texting and emailing than its Apple equivalent, and whilst perhaps not as stylish, the G1 more than makes up for it with a whole range of other features. If you have a Google account for email, calendars, contacts or maps, then your G1 will seamlessly interact with any of your online account information, offering you everything you'd ever need from Google at your fingertips. I never miss an email or calendar appointment thanks to this beauty! I intend to keep the G1 long after my contract expires, which is the only time I have ever done so with a mobile phone, so from me, that's the highest praise possible. Until the G2 comes along...! Summary: Don't discount this beauty if you're looking at top of the range mobiles |
