Don't even let them know that you know that they are there..... they are dangerous

I did not know that these bars existed until last weekend when I came across them in a bargain shop (a bit like home bargains but a family run shop). A pack of 6 Fruit and Nut Cereal Bars wre priced at just 99p so I had to snap them up. I love things like this.

Also in the Ainsley Harriott Bars are:

      Apricot & Honey Cereal Bars
      Chocolate Heaven Bars
      Caramel Delight Bars
      Luxury Cookies

... and they all sound a bit nice!

As soon as I got into the car I tore open the box and the wrapper off a bar as they looked and sounded so good.

The 35g bar is made from a combination of oats, branflakes, raisins and brazil nuts, all squished together and dipped (well, half coated) in belgian milk chocolate. Biting into these bars is like a taste senstion, gorgeous if you like cereal bars. There are some really decent sized chunks of brazil nut which give a great tasty crunch to the bar. The chocolate is smooth and milky and clearly of high quality.

The only problem with these bars is that they are so moreish and at 151 calories per bar this can be a very dangerous situation for me. I am probably better off not buying them again because I just finished diet and lost over a stone and really don't want it back again!

I would definitely recommend these for the taste and quality but if you are watching your waistline (and hoping for it to shrink) then don't entertain them!
