Advantages: Star quality and excellent value for money
Disadvantages: Hard to put the packet down
I shop for all my basics in Aldi, biscuits being no exception because lets face it, who has the time or inclination to bake them every week? Aldi's ginger nuts are a true sensation for your taste buds - seriously, try them! I don't remember prices exactly, but off the top of my head they are around the 45p mark, so amazingly great value and they come in an aptly ginger coloured packet. Aldi don't do a huge range of biscuits and when you taste these, you understand why, it's about quality, not quantity. My toddler absolutely loves them - obviously they are rationed out and she doesn't eat them by the bucket load - me on the other hand, I absolutely could... Delicious when dipped in a cup of tea and for anybody out there who suffers from the odd bout of IBS (sorry to be graphic), pretty much anything ginger related - these being no exception - will help to settle this and all the better if you can nibble on a couple with a peppermint tea.
Summary: As far as ginger nuts go, these really are the bees knees
