      Worth the money for sure!

I do love a good cream cracker as a snack either covered in butter or with butter and jam or pate or something like that. My favourites happen to be Jacob's Cream Crackers but my Mother stopped getting those after complaining they're to hard for her to eat so nowadays she gets other one's and the one's we've been consuming lately have been these priced at about 39p a packet (for about 40 of them give or take a few).

      The Packaging:

Bright orange oblong plastic packet. On two sides of the packet there are photographs of topped creamed crackers and I'm told they are Savour Bakes Cream Crackers 'A delightful favourite' and then on one of them sides the best before date is clearly stamped on, size is stated (300g), I'm told they are suitable for Vegetarians and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there. Other information on the other two sides of the packet include ingredients being listed along with allergy advice, nutritional information is fully listed, storage details are given and contact details for Aldi are given. It's a nice enough packet and it doesn't look cheap or anything, it's easy to open though it isn't resealable so really you could do with an airtight container to put these in to keep them fresher for longer or after a couple of days they do tend to go limp!

      The Crackers:

Quite large, square and rounded at the edges they are a decent thickness though not too thick but they are robust. Cream and light brown in colour and completely smooth to one side and slightly rough on the other giving them a pleasant baked look. They smell a little of wheat but not strongly or anything.

Taste wise well they are of course wheat and they are slightly seasoned but not overly so meaning you can top them with both savoury and sweet toppings if desired. They are quite hard to eat but tend to melt in the mouth rather well and taste-wise they are ok and not messy to eat at all.

      Overall:

I don't mind these but they are not as creamy as Jacob's Cream crackers in my opinion and lack something and taste a little cheap to me though do bear in mind this is only my opinion my parents love them and prefer them to leading brand offerings! For me though not only do they lack something I just find them a bit too hard on my teeth. Worth the money though and they taste ok to be fair to them!

      Allergy Advice:

      Contains: Gluten & Wheat.
