Advantages: Can taste great

Disadvantages: Of varying quality

These cheese topped rolls are something i've always had something of a predilection for. I can easily eat eight of these in one sitting.

They are currently on offer at asda at three packs for £1. You can buy three packs of these or mix them up with hot dog rolls and other pre-packed rolls. I generally buy two of these and a pack of hot dog rolls.

The packaging is nothing to write home about being a clear packaging with simply the price and description relayed on the front. They cost 45p for a pack of 4 or 3 for £1.

The rolls themselves really do vary in standard and quality depending on when you buy them, without wanting to sound like some kind of roll fiend, you really want the rolls to be nice and soft and the cheese on top to be yellow and abundant. The worst you will find of these rolls are hard rolls with some hard dark mess on top, which means the rolls have either sat their too long, or the cheese is of a very poor quality.

Being honest these rolls are not of the best quality, but I enjoy them opened up with cheese inside with a pork pie and packet of crisps as an incredibly lazy tea.

The rolls are slightly larger than an average roll and can be filled with things such as cheese, or eaten on their own as a cheap snack. They can be heated up but it doesn't really add much to the flavour.

They are available in Asda stores throughout the UK and are incredibly unhealthy, they taste it, they look it, but if like me they are something you get a craving for from time to time, they are well worth buying. I find them to be of similar quality to Tesco own brand and not quite as good as Sainsburys.
