Advantages: Tasty, good value for money

Disadvantages: Small selection fo flavours, the bags are only 14g

Asda smart price ready salted crisps come in a big bag of 12 packets for the bargin price of 47p! I have noticed recently that the bags themselves say 58p and the shelf 47p though I wouldn't mind paying the extra 11p for these crisps.

Value for money wish it works out just under 4p a bag - bargin! These are great if like me you have a partner that would for some reason quite happily live on crisps and eats at least 2 packets day.

The bags themselves are smaller than normal crisps even the Asda ones at only 14g per bag but when you consider the price difference you really do get what you pay for with these.

The quality of the crisps seems really good and we have only had to throw the odd one away out of the bag that looks a little bit manky and hasn't quite managed to get passed our quality control! If I compare this to other brands including Walkers thats pretty much a standard for crisps.

The downside to these is that you only get one flavour in the bag and I'm not that keen on Ready Salted but if you do then you can't go wrong with these, especially with all the belt tightening we all seem to be doing lately.

The taste of these crisps is ........... suprisingly ready salted and unlike some cheaper versions which you can find too salty and have you reaching for a glass of water afterward these are great. They might not pack as much flavour as the more expensive brands but you get what you pay for and these are certainly very flavoursome for the money.

Overall I would recommend these crisps and maybe one day Asda might expand its flavour selection.

Summary: Good crisps for the money
