“ Brand: Asda / Type: Snacks „
When it comes to snacky type foods I'm terrible and that's what I live on really. I have little time in my life to actually sit down and eat things and an example of this was the other day I was off out the door when I grabbed a packet of these to munch on route for my tea! Not a good habit I grant you but I don't eat loads and these did the trick for me anyway!
Clear packet that holds 45g of poppadums and on the front of the packet I'm told that they are Asda Indian Poppadums 'Deep fried lentil and rice flour' and they are suitable for Vegetarians and the weight is stated (as I've listed already'. On the back of the packet other information given includes ingredients and a full nutritional chart is shown, storage advice is given as well as the best before date being displayed and contact details for Asda are listed. It's a nice easy to open bag and of course it is informative enough.
Light and red and golden and round in colour, these have a nice sort of salty and lentil aroma to them and of course these look baked and textured. They are crispy/crunchy and taste great and they are really fresh tasting as well as a little on the salty side bu that saltiness is ground in. Taste wise they are tangy and well seasoned and taste really of rice and lentils! They are quite hard and so don't break easily and are actually perfect for dipping if desired.
I love these and costing a mere 32p a bag these are really great!
