“ Brand: Asda / Type: Crisps „
My local Asda has changed some of their Crisps over. Now we have smart ones like these, but oddly enough the Walkers Bacon Crisps have went amiss - what's going on with that?
Anyway I wrote about my love of Ready Salted Crisps a while back, and I love Walkers Salt N Shake. These are Asda's version of them, and they were just as good and that bit cheaper.
Athough the picture Dooyoo has shows they are in a pack of 6, I got them in a pack of 8. They cost £1.36 or part of the Asda 3 for £3 range which covers quite a range of Asda, Walkers and KP Crisps.
Packaging wise these are alright. They are in a rectangular multipack, and the Crisps are in the pack inside as usual. The Crisp packs are white and kinda shiny and feel a bit slippy. The colouring on the pack is red and blue. Quite a simple pack, but alright.
The bags are 25g and have 132 calories per pack.
So these Crisps are totally unflavoured and have a little sachet of Salt inside. The sachets are blue like the brand name, but they seemed to be nestled down te bottom of the bag, so a bit of digging around required. All you do it rip the Salt sachet open, shake the Crisps and you get a nice Salty flavouring over the Crisps.
The Crisps are slighly greasy feeling, and they left a slightly oily taste in your mouth, but this wasn't bad, as it tasted like Sunflower Oil, so it was alright. The Crisps were nice and crunchy, slightly curved and a little bit thick.
My only disappointment is the very first bag of these I had didn't have a Salt sachet in it. I was at home anyway, so I just sprinkled Salt from my jar onto these.
Anyway a nice Crisp to have at a not bad price.
