Asda Bourbon Smart Price biscuits are an excellent bargain at just 13p if you like the very sweet taste. I normaly buy McVitties Bourbon biscuits which tend to be slightly less sweet and darker in colour. I estimate that you get about 15 sandwich type biscuits in a packet . I was unable to find the weigh details on the packet which had already been torn apart when I got to it. (At home I mean, not in store). That shows how popular these are in my house. Each biscuit contains: 65kcals 2.9grms of fat 0.3grms salt. That's a lot of fat for one biscuit. A recent recall of all McVitties produced bourbon ... Read the complete review

I'm not normally an Asda shopper I must admit. However, being a starving *ahem* university student and having lovely friends who offer me bourbon biscuits (One of my favorites) that were brought for them among other food items by a visiting family member, I put this simple fact aside and decide to sample one to see if they are any different to the Sainsburys basics ones I usually buy. WHERE TO BUY, WHAT YOU GET AND COST. Asda Smartprice bourbons are obviously only available from Asda (Obviously) and you get 200g (Around 10 - 12 biscuits I believe...) for the princely sum of just 23p! Now that is good value in my opinion particularly if your have a ... Read the complete review

Biscuits......................love em too bits. A nice cuppa and a biscuit pretty much takes the blues away for me, especially if the biscuit is of the dunking type. If there is any kind of chocolate involved then the blues are obliterated, heaven has arrived. Even those biscuits covered in real milk chocolate, have a fight on their hands when it comes to bourbons. To look at they are nothing special, two oblong chocolate flavoured biscuits sandwiched together with an even falser chocolate cream filling. How can these possible beat a full covered choccie biscuit. Well truth is on most occasions they won't, but sometimes it isn't the chocolate that ... Read the complete review

As with all the ASDA Smartprice products, these bourbon biscuits come in a plain white packet, with a green stripe and the words "bourbon creams biscuits" written above it in green. The biscuits themselves look exactly as they should; an appealing chocolate brown rectangular-shaped biscuit, with the word "bourbon" printed on the top and chocolate coloured cream inside. All good so far. Biting into the biscuit, you get a nice hit of sweetness, followed by a kind of rusk flavour (I LOVE rusks, so this was great for me!) and then finally the chocolate. There is quite a strong flavour of chocolate, which ... Read the complete review

After having a recent get together with a few friends, one of them decided to bring a few little treats over for the kids to munch on when they got peckish. One of the things my friend brought was asda smart price bourbon cream biscuits. The packaging is a normal biscuit wrapper which is white and green and to be perfectly honest you can tell they are from a super markets own branded name. The fact that these biscuits were asdas own make didn't bother me at all as I have tried a few smart price and asda items in the past and I have actually been pleased with them. I think I would go as far as saying that asdas own brands come up tops against other ... Read the complete review
