      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Yummy and so moreish!

I love nuts and especially adore cashew nuts. I don't normally buy them though cos I pig them so fast and they are not what I would describe as cheap...usually.

However the other week I found these 'Smart Price' one's in Asda costing only £1.16 a bag and the bag seemed rather big to me for the amount that they cost and I could see the nuts through the bag and thought they looked great!

      The Packaging:

The packet is see-through plastic in the main with a white coloured section on the front of it and on that white section I am told that they are Asda Smart Price Roasted & Salted Cashew Nuts. On the back of the packet other information listed includes ingredients and allergy advice being stated, the best before date is clearly stamped on, the weight is stated which in this case (and the only size I have seen them available to buy in) 125g and contact details for Asda are given. Cheap looking packaging but its all informative enough as course, like most of Asda's packaging is.

      The Cashew Nuts:

Well you get half cashews and full one's which are a pale beige in colour and you can visibly see the salt sprinkled generously on each one. These are described as roasted which they may well be but they don't appear that way and look slightly glossy though not oily and pale and smooth.

Taste wise...well these are an excellent quality nut! Slightly crunchy but moist they don't taste anymore greasy than their appearance and they really are salty though not with rock sock that hurts your teeth and they have a natural sweetness about them!

All that this bag contain is cashews, sunflower oil and salt so no hidden nasties and certainly no sugar or artificial sweeteners are within them! They are tasty, fresh and not too chewy and are not skimped on quality wise and I love em!
