A great high quality economical buy!

I very often purchase fruit and nut snacks. Not only do I love them but so does my furry friend...Colin the hamster! The Packaging: White and green plastic bag and on the front of it there is a bowl depicted that has a see-through plastic area above it so you can see the mix sitting in a bowl and in green, black and white writing I am told that they are Asda 'Smart Price' Fruit & Nut Mix and the weight is stated which is 200g and the only size/weight that I have seen these available to purchase in. On the back of the bag other information given includes being told what the mix is, ingredients, allergy advice, warnings, storage details and a full nutritional rundown is given as well as the best before date being stamped on clearly and contact details for Asda are stated too. Cheap but informative bag this is, easy to open but a pain to reseal as no type of that is given at all. The Mix: Well the mix is a blend of dark and large raisins (called jumbo on the ingredient list), light brown sultanas which have a soft sheen to them, redskin peanuts and peanuts that are white and large looking and me and Colin love em equally! The fruit, which makes up the most part of the mix is juicy although it is dried fruit and naturally sweet and tasty. The redskinned nuts are crunchy and tastily earthy and really do contain flavour and the skin is easily chewed up alongside the nut. The peanuts, again are crunchy and taste fresh and a little sweet but nothing in this mix tastes overly sugary...just natural and apart from palm oil being added to it all thats all the mix includes so no added sugar or sweeteners are in this at all. The mix is not powdery, full of dropped off peanut skins and the peanuts are mainly whole so they look as well as taste good! This is certainly a great mixed up bag that I will be continue to buy for a long time into the future I'm sure!
