      Nice enough!

I don't buy or eat biscuits very often at all however sometimes I get visitors and always fell like I should get something in for them, usually though to be honest I end up scoffing the lot!

These I bought in my local Asda store as they only cost me 23p for a large oblong packet of them which seemed a decent little buy for my cookie jar!

      The Packaging:

As usual with the Asda Smart Price range the packaging is rather cheap looking with its bright green and white plastic packet an on the front of it we are told of course what they are and who they are by and that they contain no artificial colours, flavours or hydrogenated fat and that the weight of the biscuits are 200g. On the back of the packet other information listed includes ingredients and nutritional information as well as contact details for Asda. Like I have mentioned this is really cheap looking packaging though it is easy to open packaging to be fair to it plus informative enough.

      The Biscuits:

Well you get about 18 of these biscuits give or take one or two and all are made like sandwiches with two brown chocolate tasting oblong biscuits with a soft sort of butter cream 'gluing' them together and we are told that they are Bourbons on each one. They look nice enough and in fact these actually are rather nice with a nice crunch to them. Ideal for dunking without falling apart or scumming too much the biscuit are not overly sweet though the sweetness that they do possess tastes very natural indeed. The butter cream is soft and sweet and again tastes of chocolate. Ok these are the richest or smoothest in chocolate flavouring but they are nice enough!
