I like the fresh Bread that you get up the back of our local Asda at the Bakery bit. It always smells so nice up there, and the prices are ok as well. This only costs £1 for the 800g loaf. I'm sure it used to be that bit more expensive, but it is a good enough price just now. I don't know if you used to get this Loaf in a 400g size, of if it was another shop that done that, as I think 800g could be perhaps too much for some people since this doesn't have too long a best before shelf life. I HAD to write a review for Asda's white hedgehog bread, its delicious. I buy the 400g loaf i think they are 69p but normally they are on 2 for £1 which is what i always buy them on. You can get it whole or sliced, i get it sliced because if i dont and i try cut it myself each slice is like a big wedge and it doesn't last long!! The loaf has crusty crust and is somewhat chewy and the bread in the middle is really soft, the only problem i find though is that it is best eaten on day of purchase otherwise it goes hard and quite stale quickly.
