“ Type: Biscuits / Brand: Burton „
I love my snacks so when these sweet treats first came out I loved them!
Made by Burton's foods Ltd these 'Jammie Dodgers Minis' in Original flavour are sold in packs of eight with four tiny biscuits in each mini pack..,
They tiny biscuits are so cute, a tiny version of the big ones and they are only about one inch in circumference!
The plastic outer packaging is a bright red colour and mine was a Big Value pack which only cost me a pound about a month ago. These are ideal for my pack lunches and I've taken them on picnics and to the cinema too as they are so small they are perfect for such occasions :)
There are no artificial colours or preservatives in these snacks and there is a best before date of next August so they last ages (as if!)...
For allergists there is milk and gluten in these, but they are suitable foe vegetarians. They are made in a factory handling eggs and nuts as well.
These biscuits are low on salt and free form hydrogenated fats plus no GM ingredients (never seen that on anything before).
These are baked in France and contain 23% raspberry plum jam for that gorgeous sticky dark red jam that makes these biscuits so special and tasty!
Each small pack contains 90 calories and 6g of sugar plus 2.6g of fat so not healthy but of course these are biscuits so they won't be will they?
The appearance is just as same as the normal ones except these are so dinky they make the usual Jammie Dodgers look like giants, lol!
The light cream in colour biscuits themselves are two really dry and crispy separate discs stuck together with the gloopy jam which sandwiches the biscuit circles together to make a really tasty little mouthful.
There is a pattern of the top disc like a splodge in design and a tiny heart cut out of it where you see the jam through.
Crunchy like they should be these mini Jammie Dodgers taste really yummy and sweet in the middle. The jam is really concentrated so it really compliments the dry biscuits nicely too.
I think these are fab so they definitely deserve five stars from me for a great little idea!
