Advantages: Contains nuts. Different from others by Cadburys.

Disadvantages: Daft price considering they can be bought cheaper. Boring, not appetising.

I tried some of these recently at the theatre when going to watch my younger sister in a dance show... I thought they would keep me entertained for the three hours but to be honest, they were quite disappointing and I only ended up eating about 5!

Price; ....
These range in price depending on where you buy them, I saw them on offer for £1 when they were new out in various places such as Tesco and Asda although I know they have recently gone up to 2 for £2.50 a bag.
Worth it? I don't think so.... they aren't much different to the usual chocolate coated peanuts you can buy in store brand!

Product; ....
I love peanuts, and I love chocolate. I guess I expected these to be like the M&M's which I love! But I was wrong.
It's mostly peanut and barely any chocolate when you're eating them and I don't find them very pleasing.
There isn't much taste to them, they aren't sweet or 'melt in the mouth' effective. They don't give you the satisfaction which ordinary chocolate gives you.
When eating these, it tastes like I'm eating a bag of boring plain peanuts.

What's in them?....
A good thing about these chocolate peanuts, is that they are healthier than eating a bag of plain or caramel chocolates.
I don't think the values of this bag are shown very clearly at all! The main contents on the front are shown in each 25g portion, but the bag contains 200g in total! So how are we supposed to work out how much an eighth of the bag is!
The contents per 100g is also shown in the table on the back which I thought was more realistic, because if were honest, not many of us can eat a tiny portion of a bag of chocolates and just leave them!
100g of these chocolate peanuts contains...
570 calories
19g of protein
33.5g of carbohydrates
29.7g (of which sugars)
40g of fat
13.8g of saturated fat
5.7g of fibre

It's understandable of the high fat content of these chocolates as peanuts contain a high amount of fat, however its 'good fat' as I like to call it and isn't the same as eating a load of sausages!
The calorie content is rather high which is probably why Cadburys shy away from showing the amount and only show on the front '145 calories' which is for just 25 grams.

The packaging; ....
These chocolate peanuts come in a resealable package and an easy tear strip which isn't so easy! My bag tore half way down the easy peel so unfortunately it wasn't very easy to 'reseal' my pack!
I've not seen these in any smaller packs, only the 200grams share bags which I find odd!
The packaging is a nice gold yellow colouring with the purple brand Cadburys colour with the Cadburys sign

Overall, I won't buy these out of choice again! I think I'll stick to galaxy's chocolates and my usual favourites.
I wouldn't recommend these and I think they are being sold at a daft RRP considering they are just usual chocolate coated peanuts.

Thank you for reading, I also post on Ciao

Summary: Won't be buying them again.
