“ Brand: Cadbury „
Cadbury a while ago started doing a few new flavours in the big and the smaller sized bars as well and this was one of those new unique products that they started doing. Each one was just the original dairy milk chocolate but each had a new flavour and this mint chips is one of my favourites out of them.
I do like mint chocolate, I love after eights and matchmakers and Cadbury frys cream, so I kind of knew I would like this, however instead of having a mint flavouring to the chocolate, or mint cream like other chocolate mint products this one looked very different by the pictures on the packaging. It had small green mint chips, almost too artificial looking to look nice so I wasn't too sure about this one at first but I did get one any way to see what it would be like, and I was glad I did.
The small green mint chips are great, there's quite a lot of them in each bar so you get a really good strong mint taste with the chocolate most of the time. The chips are really bright in green colour and are a bit artificial looking however they do taste great, I'm sure there not good for you though as if you pick them out and eat them on its own there like a green ball of sugar, very sweet and hard but I guess it's a chocolate bar so your not looking at it being healthy in the first place.
If you haven't tried one of these yet but you do like mint chocolate products then give this one ago, they really do taste fantastic and it's a much more interesting taste then the original dairy milk bars.
This is a great product, with a superb twist on the original. The product has a great taste, texture and a pretty good price that offers value for money. The high quality that we can expect from the brand has continued, but the product is very addicting so the calories and fat will soon add up. It's a refreshing change that almost everyone will love.
The packaging is quite bright, but following the usual Cadbury branding means that it will be easy to find. The text is crisp, clear and big enough to read. The packet can be quite hard to open sometimes, but is isn't usually a problem and is always fresh. The picture on the front will make your mouth water and you will need to put it into the basket.
The product is very high quality, with the same great Cadbury creamy chocolate taste that we have come to love. The chocolate is thick, and fresh with the same great taste every time.
The price is higher than alternative brands, but it is worth it for the high quality and the great taste. The other brands offer better value for money, but you know you are investing in some of the best available, making it worth the small cost.
When you open the packet, a strong mint smell drifts into your nose. It isn't too over powering, but will make your mouth water so you will rush to put some into your mouth. It will start to melt straight away, with the silky smooth chocolate floating around. It's very soft in the mouth but also sweet and rich. Then, you get the mint. It's quite strong, and very delicious. It works perfectly providing a backdrop for the creamy chocolate, but some people may find it too strong.
Overall, a superb bar for mint fans, combining the perfect Cadbury quality with a promise that delivers. It might cost more, but it is definitely worth it.
I am a huge fan of cadburys confectionary brand. I have never tasted a product from them that I have found to be dissappointing. They seem to be the market leaders and nothing else really comes close. Dairy milk is a magic tasting chocolate and cadburys seem to be able to wave that magic wand over everything they do and this box of mint chips is no exception.
Cadburys mint chips come in a cadboard box, whcih is fantastic for recycling in my opinion. The cardboard has cadburys traditional purple colours and the cadburys logo on the front. There is the writtng dairy milk chips, which sells it to me as dairy milk is a fantastic product which always tastes amazing. Inside is a foil wrapping which seals the chocolate in and keeps it fresh. The wrapping is easy to open without squashing or spilling the chocolate, which is always a plus side. The only downside to the packaging is that it would be great if it was resealable, as I cant always get through them all in one go and it would make sense to save some and keep them fresh.
The chocolate itself is little square chunks, similar to what you see in a dairy milk bar, except all the chunks are separate. The chunks are bit sized pieces of cadburys dairy milk witht he logo embossed on the top. Inside they have crunchie chunks of mint crisp, which have a texture a bit like honeycomb.
Mint and chocolate go so well together that this is a winning combination. The taste and texture are very complimentary. Mint is a strong flavour, so only purchase if you like mint choc type flavours. Of course the calory count is very high too!
Cadbury's is the best chocolate producer in the world, and in my opinion i have never tasted anything better than Cadbury's. They have done so many chocolate's for us to entertain ourselves with and none being particuarly healthy but, we don't care do we ?
Lately i have come across the Cadburys Dairy Milk Mint Chips in Tesco and thought i would try them out. The bar is a 200g and cost me around £1.59. I think the price is quite fair seeing as it's a fair sized bar.
The chocolate bar comes in a eye catching wrapping. With purple and green and the famous Cadbury's logo on it and ''Dairy Milk Mint Chips'' written across the front. It is very easy to unwrapped and when you do, this gorgeous smell of mint greets you but it's not too over powering which is good, too much mint makes me feel sick before eating. There are lots of little squares in this bar, probably around 30.
The taste is utterly gorgeous. It reminds me of those Minty Aero's, but better. When you bite into a square it just melts into your mouth and the minty centre pours in. There are green bits in them i just love chewing on. There is a lovely crunchy texture to them, nice and soft too. I do love how the mint leaves your mouth feeling very minty and refreshed afterwards.
Apparently per 100g there is : - 505 - Cals, 26.1g - Fat. Per square there is 30 Cals. According to the bar. It may contain nuts and traces of wheat. It is also suitable for Vegetarians.
This bar is absolutely gorgeous. For all those mint haters, i wouldn't try these out as they are very minty. They are not the heathliest chocolates but they are fabulous for a one off treat. I recommend you try these out, they are delicious and i give them 10/10.
Cadbury are known as being the best producer of chocolate in the U.K and I think to be honest it would be very difficult to find anybody who has not tried a bar of their chocolate before and almost impossible to find somebody who hasn't heard of them. They have made loads of wonderful delights for us to gorge ourselves on which is a good thing as their chocolate is absolutely delicious but it also tends to be unhealthy.
Anyway the latest bar of Cadburys Chocolate that I've decided to sample is Cadburys Dairy Milk Mint Chips, this sounds delicious to me but if you don't like mint then I suggest you don't try it because as the title suggests it is very minty. These don't seem to be widely available but I paid £1.69 for a bar in Tesco and I think that was a fair price seeing as the bar was 200g and it is a Cadbury product so you can expect to pay a bit more for it.
This chocolate bar comes in the normal Cadbury Dairy Milk purple wrapping but it also has bits of green over the wrapper so that you can tell it apart from the other versions, not that it would be so bad to buy the wrong buy by mistake, it would in fact be the perfect excuse to go back and have to buy this one as well resulting in you having 2 chocolate bars!!
Cadbury Dairy Milk is known for having a wonderfully smooth creamy taste and texture which will just melt in your mouth and that's why it is so popular. This chocolate bar is exactly the same, it's made from the normal Cadbury's Dairy Milk but it has little green bits randomly dotted about in it. These little green bits are what make this bar so special and for me make it better than the normal version. I really like chocolate with orange or mint in and therefore this bar is perfect for me because it has a strong minty flavour, I really don't think people who aren't so keen on mint would enjoy this as it is very strong. Once you bite off one of the little green chips you get a very strong taste of mint. I don't think they are meant to be eaten on their own which is probably why they taste so strong. However when you eat them with a mouthful of chocolate you get a very pleasant taste. The mint takes away a little of the sweetness of the chocolate bar and provides you with a refreshing taste. The overall effect is a nice smooth creamy chocolate which melts on in your mouth leaving you with crunchy mint bits which have a strong minty flavour and refresh your mouth. This is great for if you're going on a date as you'll have minty fresh breath from a bar of chocolate.
Overall I think that this bar is fantastic, it wouldn't be suitable for those who don't like mint because the taste is so strong but for those who do it is a real treat and should be bought and enjoyed as much as any other Cadbury Dairy Milk Bar. Do try to remember though that as it is Dairy Milk it will be rather unhealthy, why can't anyone make a healthy chocolate bar?
Oh! Please! Am I ever going to get back to this diet?
