“ Brand: Cofresh / Type: Crisps / Snacks „
I brought these from the outdoor by me because they sell loads of different Cofresh snack foods and most of them have been quite good. I thought these would be like spicey Hula Hoops and they kind of are..... but with BIG differences!
The main difference is that these crisps are MAJORLY spicey, they are chilli flavoured and the chilli is waaaaaay hotter than I was expecting it to be. The guy in the shop said Cofresh are made mainly for the Asian community and I can believe that because after a bit these crisps are like a vindaloo in crunchy form!
I can only eat a few at one time because of how hot they are, but under the spice they've got a proper nice flavour and if Cofresh decided to make a milder version then even wimps like me would buy them more often.
The crisps are a bit more puffy than Hula Hoops but they've still got a proper nice crunchy texture, I love how you can taste the actual potato under the chilli flavour but make the most of it because once the chilli starts kicking in you won't be able to taste ANYTHING for hours! lol
They've got a bit of a bombay mix taste, not the kind of bombay mix that you buy in the shops but that mega hot stuff they put out on the tables in some Indian restaurants. I reckon if you overdone it with these crisps then you'd deffo make your tongue sore or make it feel like your mouth was burning.
There isn't much else to say about these crisps because it's chilli and potato, full stop! lol Like I said you can taste the potato for the first couple but then the chilli comes through and that's all you can taste, I think they might be nice dipped into mayo or a cool dressing but you might have a problem with them being so small. You could stick them on your fingers like Hula Hoops and dip them like that so it depends on whether you want your fingers covered in mayo! lol
Recommended.... but make sure you've got a fire extinguisher near you!!!
