      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Dinky, crispy, creamy, malty biscuits, great for Horlicks fans.

      As a child, I always remember enjoying Malted Milk biscuits, they are such an unusual flavour, I suppose they are the biscuit version of Horlicks.
      Even now when I see a packet I think back to my childhood with fondness, we always had Malted Milk, Lemon Cream Puffs, Rich Tea(better covered in chocolate) and Garibaldi(only for adults).
      So when I saw Malted Milk Creams sitting on Sainsburys shelf I had to give them a try, for old times sake.

      How do they taste?
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~
      As soon as you open the packet, you are hit with a really strong malty smell, probably stronger than the plain Malted Milk.
      They are dinky and cute with a tiny picture of a cow on each biscuit and Malted Milk written on.
      Texture is crispy, but they are a little sweet for me.
      Good amount of cream sandwiched in the middle, too much would make them sickly.
      Packaging-
      ~~~~~~~
      They come in a 200g packet in orange with a lighter orange shade swirled around it.
      A tag is drawn on stating FOX'S Creams-since 1843- relating to the fact they are one in a collection of "creams" I guess.
      Malted Milk with real barley milk(probably why they smell and taste so strong) is written on in white lettering with pictures of the biscuits.

      Information-
      ~~~~~~~
      Each biscuit contains-
      Calories 63-3%
      Sugar 3.8g-4%
      Fat 2.9g-4%
      Saturates 1.5g-8%
      Salt 0.1g-2%
      Suitable for vegetarians
      Once opened store in an airtight container.
      Contains Wheat, Gluten, Milk and Soya.
      Note it doesn't state "may contain nut traces" thats unusual and one for people with nut allergies to remember, so thats a plus for Foxs.
      Ingredients-
      ~~~~~~~~
      Wheat flour
      Sugar
      Vegetable oil
      Barley malt extract
      Milk whey powder
      Glucose syrup
      Whole milk powder
      Salt
      Raising agent(sodium bicarbonate)
      Emulsifier(soya lecithin)
      Flavouring(contains milk)

      Available from Sainsburys (not sure which other supermarkets)
      Price 82p currently- I think quite expensive.

      All in all a lovely malty biscuit with the addition of cream in the middle.
      My son thinks they are lovely but hes a biscuit monster anyway.

      Would I buy them again? Definately, not regularly especially as they have alot of fat (saturated) per biscuit but every couple of months.
      Obviously if your not a big fan of Malt flavour, you won't like them.

      Fox's Malted Milk Creams are a crunchy malted milk biscuit with a nicely sweet cream filling.
