      Very helpful

A nice present to give and also to recieve!

After doing a favour for a friend recently, I was delighted to have been rewarded with a box of these biscuits as a thank you, god bless the supermarkets and their unseasonably early Christmas ware!

I was sure before opening these biscuits that I had had a tin of these last year, but upon opening them I was surprised to find that these are either a new brand, or else a rehashed version!

Within the tin there were a good 10 different biscuits to choose from, an all smothered in chocolate.

Every biscuit has got a different delicious sounding name, things like "luscious" and "lavish", but everyone being different, nothing worse than a box full of exactly the same biscuits (unless you really like those biscuits of course!).

There is a selection of milk, dark, or white chocolate biscuits, or on some a mixture of all three, but all as thickly covered as the last, and to me what I would deem as "treat" biscuits, rather than an everyday variety.

Sumptuous, is a milk chocolate shortcake, which is creamy, crunchy and chewy all in the same mouthful, though I did find this lovely, it was also quite sickly too.

Luscious, is an orange cream sundae, that is wrapped in an individual red foil wrapper that I would have loved to try, but unfortunately was piped at the post by my son and husband, though they did say how delicious it was, with the orange part being like that of a club biscuit.....swine's!

Indulgent, is a dark chocolate covered Viennese finger, so with the dark and rich chocolate is a slightly lighter centre, but still as delicious and moorish as the rest.

Heavenly, is a milk chocolate shortcake melting round, with the chocolate being the draw for this biscuit, it has an almost silky feel on the tongue, with the biscuit centre being delicious too, but I could quite possibly just eat a bar of the chocolate!

Divine, is a dark chocolate halo, which again is lovely and bitter, but I always feel cheated out of quantities when there are holes in the product! Lol!

Sumptuous, is the only completely white chocolate biscuit in the tin, and though very nice as I am not a fan of white chocolate I could take or eave this, though I did appreciate how thickly the chocolate disc on top of the round biscuit was.

Irresistible, is the same premise as the above, but the white chocolate is marbled with dark chocolate giving the biscuit a lovely look to it.

Tempting, is a very nice addition to the tin with it being described as a milk chocolate wheaten finger, which translates as a mini "breakaway" bar, which I do love!

Lavish, is one of my favourites in the tin, with it being a dark chocolate Jaffa shortcake, with the orange being the best part, the sweetness offset by he dark almost bitter chocolate is perfection.

Finally luxurious, is a milk chocolate shortcake round (again with a hole!), but there seems to be additional chocolate on this one, it is extremely thickly layered with the stuff, and delicious and creamy to boot.

Within the tin there are two to three of each variety mentioned, which for £5.00 a tin is actually really good value.

These are currently available from www.asda.com, along with many others too as part of a Christmas pre-sale they are currently running, so I would suggest stocking up now!

Nutritional information is not to be found on this product, which is probably a good thing, but I would imagine that there would be allergy notices for nuts, seeds and milk on this tin.

This was a really lovely gift and definitely a brand I would recommend, I may even replace the tin that we have managed to eat between us (even though it had been put up for Christmas!).

      Thanks for reading x
