      Best For Cold Fillings

I brought a pack of these Hovis White Rolls because my sister has started taking a packed lunch to playgroup and I was looking for something a bit different to plain white Warburtons for her.

You get 6 rolls in a pack, I only paid 69p for them but I think that was a special offer because that seems mega cheap for Hovis.

Best of Both means it's white bread but has had wheatgerm added to it to make the bread a bit more filling and healthy. The bread looks like white bread only I think it's a bit darker, the taste is the same because the main flavour is deffo white bread but you can still tell something else has been added to it.

The rolls are lovely and soft, they have already been sliced in half so you don't have to do that. I actually prefer to slice my own rolls though because I like getting a rougher cut, these are sliced dead flat and even though they taste yummy it makes them feel a bit too factory made.

The taste is delish, I like the added wheatgerm because it gives the bread a tiny bit of a nutty flavour. Once you've put your fillings in the roll you won't be able to taste this and it will just taste like a normal white roll so that's the way to get some extra goodness into your kids without realising it.

The only thing I'm not mad keen about on these is the crust because after the pack has been open for a couple of days it starts cracking and then the roll will start to taste a bit stale even though the bread inside is still dead fresh.

We used the last 2 to put burgers in today and i don't think they went all that well with the hot burger because the grease brought out the nutty taste a bit stronger and I prefer plain white cobs for burgers and stuff like that.

Recommended..... delish and healthier than white bread!!!
