This bread is the holy grail of toast making. I have struggled long and hard to find the perfect bread for toast. One that doesn't go too dry and crunchy, or soggy and flacid. One that has great flavours and textures......AND NOW I'VE FOUND IT!

Firstly, the seed sensations bread I like it the 'rich and roasted' variety. It comes in a bag identical to the one above, but its purple not orange. The cost varies from supermarket to supermarket, but expect to pay around £1.50 for it. Its not exactly cheap, but its worth it for the quality of this bread.

When you take this bread out of the packet, you can tell it contains "over 25,000 delicious roasted seeds" (Thanks Mr.Hovis, I'll take your word for it). It is studded with seeds throughout, not just on the crust like some seeded breads. It contains 8, YES 8, different types of seeds: Pumpkin, sunflower,poppy,millet , sunflower and three different types of linseed. These give it a rich taste (especially when toasted) and a great texture.

I've read reviews that say this bread stays fresh for longer than average breads, I can imagine this is true but it never lasts that long in our house! Even the kids love this healthy, nutty bread.

Now the important part. Toastability. This toasts wonderfully. Brown and crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. It retains the heat well too, so your toast doesn't go cold after 30 seconds.

Now for the downside.......since I have been buying this bread and easting it for breakfast most mornings, slathered with butter (it HAS to be butter, respect the bread!) I've gain 3 pounds! I usually avoid carbs, but this bread is so addictive! It has 118 calories per slice, so not one for weight watchers.

Overall, this bread is the best. Taste, texture and toastability!
