Advantages: better than whte bread

Disadvantages: only comes in one thickness, a bit expensive compared to others

I am a massive fan of granary and seeded bread, and I really like the Hovis versions. There are a few types of seed sensations, my favourite is the rich one which has a purple packet and it's covered in sunflower seeds and various other ones (I'm not sure what they all are), and it's very tasty.

A loaf of seed sensation usually costs about £1.60, it is sometimes on offer, but I think it's actually quite expensive considering sainsburys do their own seeded granary loaf for £1.00

The seed sensation is a lovely bread, it toasts extremely well, I find that toasted it goes very crunchy (which I like, others might not), other granary breads tend to have a soft middle but this goes crispy all over, and has a great crunch to it, which is heightened by the seeds.

The only bug bear I have with this bread apart from the price is that it does have some smaller seeds in it, which make a habit of getting stuck in teeth, so you will have to clean your teeth or have chewing gum handy after you have eaten this bread. Also some of the seeds have a tendency to drop off in the toaster and burn.

Another downside to this bread, is that it only comes in one thickness, which is ok for toast and sandwiches, but sometimes there is nothing better than a doorstep of granary bread with a meal.

This bread is ideal for sandwiches, it makes them a bit more interesting than plain old white bread, and it is healthier for you, but it does come with a couple of downsides which mean that I have actually switched to Sainsburys own now, and it's a bit better. I still buy this on the odd occasion though.

Summary: More interesting than white bread and good on the odd occasion.
