      Gorgeous Muffins Made By Hovis

These muffins were on special offer in Morrisons a couple of weeks back and you could buy any 2 Hovis products for £1.00. I LOVE muffins and have tried most of the new ones that have come out recent so had to get a pack of these.

They're delish, just as good as the Warburtons and Kingsmill ones and miles better than ANY of the supermarket own brand muffins. I've never been all that mad on Hovis bread so I wasn't sure how good these would be but they're wicked.

I've only had them toasted because I don't like cold muffins and they toast well, I always do both sides because I like the whole outside to be nice and crunchy. The butter melts better into a hot muffin anyway! lol

The taste is soooooo nice! It's a bit doughy with a delish smooth flavour and just tastes like the very best toast ever. When you put butter on these muffins it melts through the bread a bit and the trick is to just lightly toast it because then you still get few little blobs of warm butter. Yummy!

I had one yesterday with bacon and tomatoes and it was delish. You can tell the muffin is high quality because it doesn't go all slimey and horrible when it touches the bread. The doughy flavour of the bread went proper nice with the bacon and I reckon sausage would have been nice on it as well.

You can have them any way you fancy, I had one with jam spread on this morning and that was nice but really you need butter with the jam because it was a bit dry. I don't like butter anywhere near jam so won't be trying that but I reckon it would have been a nicer texture with butter.

Recommended.... delish muffins that are wicked toasted and would probably also be nice cold if you like your muffins like that!!!
