Hula Hoops Original taste and design
Member Name: scobeyjohnson
Advantages: Great taste and crunchy texture
Disadvantages: Crisps are never that good for you
Hula Hoops from KP are a real favourite crisp of mine and although you can purchase them in different flavours like Barbecue Beef, Cheese and Onion and Salt and Vinegar I normally opt for the Original variety which is basically Ready Salted. These crisps were launched in 1973 according to the information on the reverse of the packet and due to their hollow ring shape they are unique compared to other products on the shelf.
The Original flavour are presented to you in a bright red foil packet with a large image of a yellow hula hoop on the front, these are very recognisable on store shelves. You can purchase them from all sorts of shops and supermarkets and on the Tesco website a standard 34g bag is priced at 45 pence but as with many crisps and chocolate bars if you buy a multipack you will undoubtedly make a decent saving.
Hula Hoops are tiny crispy and crunchy potato rings that you can just about slide on to one of your fingers, they are brilliant to pour in to bowls at parties or to eat with friends when you watch a film together or something like that.
The packaging boasts that these contain no artificial flavours or colours, no MSG and that they are made with 100% sunflower oil. Nutritionally speaking they don't seem any worse than other crisps with each bag having 175 calories and 9.7g of fat. These are great to eat every now and again maybe with sandwiches at lunch time or on a picnic.
Summary: Hula Hoops, great crisps for children and adults
