      Very nice

Every Christmas, I stop off at my local Iceland to pick up a few of their lovely platters. My favourite might just be the 60-piece chicken platter, which costs £5, which, if split between a few of you, is a great deal and makes a very filling nibble in the holiday period! The box is quite large, so make sure you have freezer space before buying (as I failed to do), or you could just take the individual bags out of the box I guess. Anyway, the platter contains 15 Spiced orange & cranberry bites, 15 southern fried breaded chunks, 15 breaded chunks, 15 pepper & lemon bites. I had the platter for lunch today and shared the platter with one other person, and let me say that it was VERY filling, and it could easily stretch to 3-4 people. It works both as a lunch time meal by itself, or as a bit of light party food if you want to share it with more people. The Spiced orange & cranberry bites are probably my least favourite of the pack but still very nice. I'm not especially fond of cranberry but the orange and spices are very pungent, and the chicken is soft and succulent. The southern fried breaded chunks are KFC-like chunks but not quite as crunchy and a bit more pale in complexion. They are very delicious and still have a satisfyingly crunchy texture. The breaded chunks are quite similar but just lack the spices used for the southern fried variant; they are otherwise the same in texture, if a bit more mild in taste. The pepper & lemon bites might be my favourite; again they are very succulent, but I think the combination of pepper and lemon works very well. I love lemon chicken, and here it is given an extra kick with the pepper. This platter went down very well, and will surely be a hit at parties. It takes only 25 minutes to cook and is well worth picking up!

      A great idea!

60 piece chicken platter!! What does this pack contain? 15 rosemary breaded bites 15 pepper and lemongrass breaded strips 15 tomato and herb kebabs 15 pepper and lemon bites. The pack costs £5!! These are scrumptious, unlike many of the party packs from Iceland., this one does need cooking. The best thing is that all of the different varieties cook on the same gas mark (even other platters that need cooking). They all cook on gas mark 6! This platter takes around 28 mins to cook. Once cooked you will probably need to place on a platter, this what I did for a recent party and it went down fabulous, everyone loved the chicken! This pack has 100% chicken breast meat and has no hydrogented fats, artificial colours or flavourings and no GM ingredients Beware as this product is made in a product where coconuts, nuts and is around. Enjoy xx
