      Another great platter from Iceland

I am going to disagree with the other Dooyoo users who only found middling success with this Iceland Tex Mex platter. Although the chicken platter might be my favourite, I think this is still very tasty, and it went down very well with my family who I bought it for. I bought it last year and we all liked it enough that I had to get it again! The box contains 25 Cajun Mushrooms, 25 Hot & Spicy Jumbo Wedges, 25 Chilli Onion Rings and a pot of a Salsa Dip also. As I said in my other platter review, make sure you have freezer space, or you will be stitched up! What's most surprising is how quick this was to cook; the chicken platter took 25-30 minutes whereas this was only about half that. It has a very pungent aroma when you take the food out of the oven. Moreover, I think that a 75-piece platter for a mere £5 is a very good deal! The Cajun Mushrooms are probably my favourite part: I love mushrooms and even moreso when they are breaded; they have a nice consistency, although I appreciate that mushrooms aren't very popular because they are "slimy", so I can understand why not everyone will like this platter totally. The Hot & Spicy Jumbo Wedges aren't as spicy as I expected, but they are very tasty and extremely filling. They are the largest part of the platter and generally go the quickest, I find. The Chilli Onion Rings are also delicious, although again I didn't find them as spicy as I expected. They're very crunchy but not TOO crunchy, and have a very pungent onion taste. The Salsa dip is quite nice, but again it's something that peopel tend to be picky about, so if you don't like salsa normally, you're not going to be swayed here. For fans of Tex Mex food, though, this is a steal!
