Advantages: A fun childrens (and adults) treat.
Disadvantages: You will never be able to get all the dip out with the biscuits provided!
The product that I will now review is something that I once enjoyed as a child, so who am I to tell my children that it is not the healthiest of snacks!
The product I will now review is - "KP choc dips".
For anyone that has never heard of this product, the concept is simple. Held within the plastic two compartmented tub is a small dipping well that holds a portion of chocolate flavour dip in the other, much larger compartment is held around 8 biscuit sticks, the dippee shall we say!
The tub itself is rigid and cylindrical in shape with the top covered and secured with a thin foil lid.
Once the lid is removed you are faced with the aforementioned parts, so the only thing left to do is dip!
There is a very slight chocolate scent when the lid is removed, so when you have a lick you will be surprised that the chocolate flavoured dip is actually quite rich and strong, although not as nice as a good chocolate bar of course!
The biscuit sticks are thick and very crunchy and very like a rich tea biscuit in flavour.
You then use the biscuit sticks to scoop up the dip and eat thus, though be warned the sticks are shaped in such a way that you will never be able to effectively remove all the dip with the sticks alone, so there will have to be some finger scooping going on, or as my daughter does, she licks the remainder out, though do be careful as the plastic does seem to be a little on the sharp side.
These were brought from Asda as part of an ongoing offer "3 for £3.00", this incorporates a whole plethora of other goodies, including mini hobnobs and both varieties of iced gems.
