Had a Pack of rowan hill backery ctumpets from lidl. The morning after purchasing I toasted 2 crumpets i ate the first thinking this dont taste right i am pregnant so thought it might of been my taste buds. I went on to my second crumpet to find it was just as horrid so i had a look and to my horrific surprise it was full of mold. I then went to check the rest in the pack to also find them all having mold on them. I Checked the date on the pack and it said best before 20/4/2012 so was still in the use by Date. If you wanted my advise i would stay well clear of rowan hill bakery crumpets.
