Advantages: light, melt in the mouth, lower in calories than other chocolate bars
Disadvantages: still a lot of sugar - but hey it's chocolate after all!
I must admit to being a Galaxy girl over any other leading chocolate brand. I like the creamy, smoothness of Galaxy chocolate and with Galaxy Bubbles they have not failed to disappoint.
The 31g bars are just the right size for a quick but luxurious chocolate/sugar craving pick-me-up. They contai 169 calories so are on the lower end of the calorie/real chocolate bar spectrum.
I love the smoothness of the chocolate - the bubble seem to add to this, making it really light and airy and giving it a more melt in the mouth texture. It is lovely biting into a chunk and having it melt. It is much less dense than a regular bar of galaxy and rather than distracting from the experience it adds to it for me. I find one bar is just enough but if you are worrying about the bubbles taking up vital chocolate space then just eat two!!!
There are five chunks in a bar and the bar is sealed in a plastic foil wrapper.
The nutritional information per 100g is:
Energy 2270KJ / 544Kcal
Protein 6.6g
Carbohydrate 56.1g
Fat 32.5g
Advice on the packet is that it contains milk, whey wowder, soya, and may also have traces of hazelnuts, almonds and other nuts.
I love em! (Which is bad luck for my diet!!)
Summary: A satisfying chocolate bar that is (slightly) better for you!
