I noticed these on the counter of my local shop for £1 on an offer. I have always enjoy biscuits and cookies and Maryland are a brand I know and trust, so the 125g bag joined the rest of my shopping and came home with me.
They come in a nice foil re-sealable bag that has an easy to open tear strip. You rip this open and then can use the sticky label cleverly placed on the back of the packet to keep them fresh for when you want more.
The nice bright red packet is easy to spot on the shelf and has the usual "Maryland" branding along with a few pictures of some tasty looking cookies. I found the packaging was ideal, it did keep the cookies nice and fresh as I had a few then saved some for my other half a little later and its also a good shape to hold and nibble out of.
The cookies themselves taste exactly the same as the bigger packet versions. Although slightly smaller, as they are "snack bites" they still have a good texture and a nice sweet and chocolately taste. They even taste great dunked in a cup of tea. They are a moreish and I can easily see the whole bag being eating in one sitting, but then, if its a one off treat then there is no harm in that!
Of course they aren't great for you as they are cholcoate chip cookies, but they aren't too bad really. 126 calories for the bag and 3.2g of satrated fat isn't the end of the world.
They would be perfect for long car journeys for example with children, as they bag can be easily handed round, there is enough to share as a small treat and you can always save some for later.
I only spotted these by chance at the door of Sainsbury's the other week. There is a new range of Snack Bite Biscuits out and the range is Choclate CHip Cookies, CHocolate Fingers and Jammy Dogers. I decided to try these and they were on offer for £1, which is even better.
Packaged in a Shiny Red Metallic pouch that you tear open at the top. You can reseal the bag by folding the top over or it has a sticker attatched to the back of the Bag and you unstick this, fold the top over and stick this over it to keep it shut. The pouch is 125g. On the front there is a few pictures of the Mini Biscuits, and they look nice. They are golden brown and have Chocolate Chips mixed through them.

I was sad enough to count them in the pack and got 36. Perhaps it varies slightly, but this seemed like a ood enough amount to get. The Biscuits were around the same size as a £2 coin, and they were just the right bite sized chunks. They were hard, but crubled easily and although there was only about 4 Chocolate Chunks in each Biscuit, sometimes only 3, the Chunks melted easy enough, were sweet and nice and Milky.
I think the normal price of these is £1.60, and I don't think they are worth that. They are nice, but you can bu the standard sized pack of normal Maryland Cookies for about 80p and you will get more eating in that pack and for less money. I will only buy again if on offer, but they were good enough.
