Mmm, my ultimate favourite snack, i don't mind whether they are a cake or a biscuit, to me they are just pure indulgence.
You have the best of three textures in one, first is the soft, light sponge base, then the gorgeous tangy orange flavour and last but not least, a generous coating of milk chocolate.
I can't resist buying a packet each time i go shopping, but by the end of the day, they have somehow disappeared! Unfortunately, i can't blame anyone else, because i am the only one living in my house! The are just so addictive, once you have eaten one, then you are addicted.
I say to myself, i shouldn't feel too guilty, as they are a light snack with very few calories in each biscuit/cake.
There are many ways, to make them interesting to eat, imagine sitting there saying to yourself, full moon, take a big bit, half moon, then before you know it, total eclipse!!
I like to nibble around the edges first, then demolish it, all depends on the mood you are in at the time.
I have found out at my expense that they are not ideal for dunking, so beware!! As long as jaffa cakes still exist i shall be a very happy lady!
