McCain Pizza Fingers
Advantages: Fast to cook.
Disadvantages: Not enough topping
I am a huge fan of the McCain products because they are quick and easy to cook. The Pizza Fingers made by the McCain brand aren't one of their best products but I can't say I don't enjoy them. Pizza Fingers are exactly what they are called pizza in the shape of fingers. OK maybe there not exactly the shape of fingers but more like a rectangle about the size of a two part Kit Kat.
-------- Taste, Smell, Appearance ---------
McCain Pizza Fingers are very nice but I do have to say that they have very little tomato puree and cheese on there. There have been the odd few times where the Pizza Fingers I ate where perfect with the amount of puree and cheese they put on there. When they are cooked the cheese melts nicely onto of the breaded base. When eating the Pizza Fingers because they have little toppings it seems like I'm eating more bread than a pizza but it's not completely bad.
Although these are pizzas they don't have the strong smell of pizza that pizzas usually have. I've noticed that when I cook these I nearly always forget that they are in the oven because I always use smelling the food as a sign it's almost done. These pizzas fingers can only be smelt if your standing near to them but they mostly smell of the puree.
The McCain Pizza Fingers looks just like the image that is on the box when cook which is good because I really hate when company's false advertise the packaging of their products. They are about 6cm long, 1.5cm wide and 1.5 cm high.
These Pizza Fingers are very easy to cook and take about 10 minute in the oven which is great for a quick snack. I usually have them for lunch if I'm not doing anything but the are some occasions when I get home and I'm hungry and throw them in the oven because they are quick. I usually cook the whole box because 1 or 2 just isn't enough for me but when I was a kid I could only manage to eat about 3 at most.
I'm a really big pizza lover so these don't come out onto for the best pizza but they are still nice to eat.
8 come in a box which is currently on sale in ASDA for £1 but the are usually around £1.50. I think they are worth the price but I do think they should make a box 10 instead of 8 to make it a better value since they are quite small. For the price the quality is quite good and you really can't for much more. I definitely would recommend them because they a great for lunch and even for dinner for kids.
Summary: Decent Pizza but could do with a little more topping.
