Although the Chocolate Hob Nobs are probably my most favourite Chocolate Biscuits out there (even beating the Caramel Digestives), these ones are one of the few non Chocolate Biscuits that hold my interest. They taste pretty good without Chocolate as well.
These come in a 300g pack and cost about 80p. The pack is quite bright and stands out on the shelf in the Biscuit aisle.
You get about 12 Biscuits in the pack. They are quite thick Biscuits, but not too thick.
All these Biscuits are are Oaty Biscuits. They are crammed full of a Digestive tasting Biscuit but with loads of knobbly Oaty bits crammed into them. They are hard Biscuits but when bitten into they break up easily. They don't seem to go softer when crunched, but after a few chews of these then you really get the oaty flavours. The texture is crumbly and full of knobbly bits and is just so nice. These taste quite salty, malty and of course the rough Oat taste through these as well.
Although the Chocolate ones have that nice sweetness on top to be a nice contrast to the more savoury taste, as I mentioned the naturalness of these are really nice as well.
A rare occassion that I will say that Chocolate isn;t always needed to make a nice Biscuit.
