What are they?
I think they're meant to be a packet of biscuits...!
These biscuits are made from oats and wholemeal wheat flour.
What do I think?
Before this, I had never actually tried HobNobs before, we never actually had them in the house. For some reason my dad has started to buy them and looking for some food the other day, I came across these and started eating them... These actually taste very interesting, very nibbly, crumbly and bitty. The texture is very interesting although it doesn't overwhelm you too much, I think it's a case of the dough not being kneaded in too much...I like the fact that it is made from oats and some crunchy nutty oat bits are included.
I think it says somewhere on the packet that you should dunk them in tea, personally I never really dunk my biscuits, most of it ends up in the tea and I might as well just drink a cup of hot biscuits. With HobNobs, it's really not worth dunkng them, as the biscuit it quite crumbly in composition and I think you would be wasting half a pack of biscuits before any of it reaches your mouth in one solid piece.
I like the fact that these biscuits are not very sweet, very little sugar in these, although enough to pick up your sugar levels during the break. Although, I'm not quite sure what of sugar they use in this, but I actually find that I look terrible during the weeks that I've been eating this, may just be a personal reaction, but I do find that I wake up with more swelling under the eyes after eating these - I have also tried to stop eating these, I seem to to revert back to normal...sounds bizarre...
Costs around 76p a pack where you get about 20 biscuits. Very handy during the break times, but definitely need a hot drink to go with this - these biscuits really stick to your teeth!
Thanks for reading.
Summary: Quite nice actuallly...
