I've recently decided to cut my chocolate and crisp addiction right down in an attempt to get into shape for this years holiday.

It's usually when I am at work that I get a craving for something, so over the last few weeks I have been sticking to these as they are the healthiest thing available in the vending machine.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first tasted them and actually enjoyed eating them.

The packaging is easy to open and contains 3 crispy Go Ahead slices which make up 43g. The product is made by McVitie's so there is really no reason to worry about the quality you are getting.

Each slice is rectangular biscuit with an apple and sultana filling. The amount of filling is quite generous which really helps the make the biscuits taste less dry.

You can really taste the apple in this product and there are whole sultanas used too. I find this makes the biscuits taste quite sweet and gives them a nice flavour but obviously, if you don't like apple or sultanas, then you're not going to like these.

The top of the biscuits seem to be sprinkled with what looks like sugar which also helps to give the product a sweet taste. I felt quite satisfied after eating a packet of these, they are quite a substantial little snack and the great thing is that they are only 56 calories per slice and very low in fat. They are also suitable for vegetarians.

I think this is a product that anyone of any age can enjoy and would also be great for children's lunchboxes.
