      Recommened mini cookies!

I was introduced to the world of oreos when I started Upper School, before I thought they were some sort of weird American cakey thing that I wouldn't like as I'm a really fussy eater. However one day my friend was eating some of these oreos and offered me one and I found I quite liked it. Oreos aren't my favourite cookie/biscuit but they are very enjoyable and I still buy them from time to time. Full size oreos are a 'sandwich cookie,' the biscuit part is chocolate and the inside is a white creamy filling (my favourite part!). Mini Oreos are exactly the same, but mini (of course...) but when they say mini, they mean mini! They are slightly bigger than a 1p but smaller than a 10p in size. They also come in a tub instead of a plastic packet like most biscuits do.

The tub is about the height of a large glass and the top is the size of a cd and it gradually gets smaller towards the bottom to make it easier to hold. It is made of plastic with a bright yellow lid that stays on very well but is easy to remove too, the cookies inside are kept fresh by having the top sealed with foil under the lid until you remove it. Also the tubs not half full like a packet of crisps, it's almost full to the top!

I'm guessing these tubs are probably supposed to last a while, as a snack by eating a few at a time but me and friend would share a tub over the course of a day at school, mainly in French or ICT and Maths lessons... (we never got caught as they were so small and quick to eat hehe!). I imagine they would also be really good to take on a picnic or as part of party food at a party and none goes to waste after as they come in the tub! The tub can be recycled or easily used to store other bits and pieces around the house too.

There is no taste difference between mini and normal sized cookies although I always feel like there is but this is probably because in smaller form they don't fill me up as quick and make me feel a bit sick from so much sweetness! These mini oreos can be eaten the same classic way as eating normal ones, 'first you twist it, then you lick it, then you dunk it,' the dunking part is putting it in milk if you want to, which I personally don't. Or just eaten as a whole, either way still nice! I feel like there's more of a balance between biscuity part and creamy part in the smaller ones but this may just be me!

They may be mini but they still taste great!

I am currently attempting to improve my diet and reduce my bad snacking habits but the temptation for biscuits is just too great! My friends all know how much of a biccie addict I am so on a recent DVD night I was showered with sweet treats including a tub of these fab little Mini Oreos.

The biscuits come in a plastic tub that has a foil seal over the top to keep the biscuits fresh. The packaging is resealable which is great as you can then just pop the lid back on and the biscuits will stay crunchy and are still good to eat when you want another serving. The tub can be recycled after use.

These biscuits taste amazing, I love Oreos and think they have a lovely unique taste. Oreos have a sandwich style look to the, and there are two bicuits stuck together with a lovely cream filling. The biscuits are a very dark colour, almost black, and they have a nice crunchy bite to them as well as a light chocolate flavour. The cream filling between the two biscuit halves has a super sweet vanilla taste to it and this works perfectly together.

Sadly these biscuits are a no go for dunking. I love having biscuits with a nice cuppa on my tea break, but the small size means they would probably get lost or disintegrate entirely. They are just the right size to pop in your mouth and make a yummy bite-sized treat.

Oreos are great biscuits that taste yummy, but are not so good for your body. I love them but my waistline doesn't thank me for it if I eat too many so these mini Oreos are perfect! 5 stars for flavour, but it's sooo tempting to just keep on munching once that tub is opened. I like the mini size and they have that distinctive flavour and look that made Oreos famous around the world. I would definitely buy the Mini Oreos again rather than the regular sized ones as I still get to satisfy my sweet tooth without consuming as much as I would with the bigger size biscuits.

        A good mini oreo

I love oreos, and one day my sister bought me a tub of these really cute, mini oreos and I fell in love with oreos all over again. The tub is a plastic one, with a plastic yellow lid, and a sealed foil lid underneath that, which you have to peel back on the first opening. This is to keep the mini oreos nice and fresh for when you eat them. There is some pictures of the mini oreos on the plastic tub, and all the nutritional information is printed on the back.

Inside, you will find many of the cute little oreos, which really are just mini versions of the full size Oreo cookies. They still have the full yumminess and taste of oreos, but you do lose the twist, lick and dunkability due to the size of them. This is the only downside to eating the mini version though. I still love them, and these are the perfect size to just pop one in your mouth on its own and chew away. The tub is resealable, so you don't have to have the temptation of eating them all in one go, although this has somehow happened many a time!

If you enjoy Oreos, then this is a great product for you to buy. I have only seen them for sale in WH Smith, but you may well be able to find them in other places. Just like the larger versions, there is many calories and a lot of fat in these, so please enjoy them as part of a balanced diet once, in a while. 5 out of 5 from me.

best biscuit I have ever tasted!

My boyfriend used to live in the USA when he was younger and apparently lived off Oreos, twinkies and kool aid, so having heard him talk about oreos constantly I bought a case online for his birthday and it cost me a bomb to get them delivered! (it was worth it to see his face though!) However the UK market seems to have found Oreos now and thankfully for me and my boyfriend they are all over supermarkets and newsagents, with various flavours and sizes.

This handly little tub is by far the best idea oreos have come up with, bite size oreos and a handy tub! Oreos are gorgeously chocolatey biscuits with a milky creamy filling in the middle, hugely addictive and moreish, if you like biscuits you'll love Oreos especially with the bite size mini-tubs!

Overall these are some of the best biscuits I have ever tasted, and come in other flavours too. Sometimes they can be expensive but always look out for special offers as there are plenty around!

          Nice little biscuits.

My kids love Oreo Cookies as much as I do. The first time I brought home Nabisco Mini Oreo, they looked at the little cookies with awe. These cookies are small; about an inch when measured across. They are miniatures of the regular Oreos with two dark cocoa biscuits joined together by white cream and they taste exactly the same as the big ones. They are packed in a plastic tube with a resealable lid.

The good thing about the small size is that my kids can put the whole cookie in their mouth thus eliminating the mess that the big ones do. They still eat these little Oreos the way they did with the regular cookies; scraping the center white cream with their teeth and eat the cookies afterwards or eat them whole. They even added a new style of eating these mini Oreos; tossing a cookie into the air and whoever catches it with his mouth gets a free cookie.

Dunking these mini cookies into a glass of milk is not convenient as your fingers are more likely to be dipped too. If my kids really want to eat these mini Oreos with milk, then they would get a spoonful of milk, put a cookie on the spoon and eat it directly from the spoon.

            Great tasting biscuits!

Id never had an oreo before when I saw this tub of mini oreos on offer, 2 tubs for £1, they are usually 83p each, so I thought id give them a go for just £1. They came in a blue tub with a yellow lid to keep them fresh. There are pictures of oreo biscuits on the front so you know what they look like.

Oreos are a type of biscuit, with a vanilla cream filling. They are two chocolate flavoured biscuits which are round and the vanilla flavouring is in the middle of these biscuits. The biscuits were light and crunchy, and tasted nicely of chocolate. They weren't sickly at all, and the vanilla flavouring inside was smooth and creamy. The flavouring works really well with the chocolate biscuit, they are gorgeous combined together! There was just the right amount of filling in them, not too much or too little.

These are mini oreos, and they are very small. They are bigger than a 1p but smaller than a 2p, you can get full size ones, which I have not tried yet but I want to now after trying these! I heard somewhere that these are nice dipped in milk, but I don't think I would like that!

These tubs contain 115g of oreo biscuits and there are 470 calories per 100g, so they are not that good for you! As long as you just snack on them and don't eat them all at once like us, they aren't too bad!

The tub is handy to just keep going back to them to snack on them, as they are in a tub you don't get any mess or crumbs in your cupboard like you might if they are in a pack.

These didn't last long in our house, both tubs were gone within 3 days!

You need to store these in a cool dry place, and they may contain traces of nuts.

I highly recommend trying these oreos, we really enjoyed them, and will definitely be buying them again!

              .

When we went shopping last night at Asda I don't think we bought any proper food. We bought a load of junk to have a bit of a snacky session in front of the tv last night and tonight. The wife is good at buying junk stuff, and this is one of her favourite Biscuits.

You get these in full sized biscuit packs, but the mini ones are a not bad buy and a nice in a little Biscuit kind of way.

These were rolled back in price to £1. I think they can normally cost around £1.40. The tub size is 115g but you get quite a few Biscuits in here.

The tub is how it looks on the Dooyoo picture. It is a thin plastic with a plastic lid and foil covering. We always leave the foil attatched at 1 side, but don't know why as the tub is all eaten within a few hours.

I don't know exactly how many Biscuits you get in here, but I would say upwards of 30. They are about the size of a slightly larger 5p and consist of 2 round bits of Chocolate flavoured Biscuit with a Cream filling. There is no Chocolate on these, but you can taste the Chocolate in the Biscuit. The Cream part is enough for you to taste the Cream with the other 2 parts. The Biscuit is quite crumbly and really nice.

This is a great tasty Biscuit that we will continue to enjoy.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

If you're craving a sweet biscuit treat you could do worse than these

Having grown up in the States, Oreo cookies were part of my childhood and although my parents wouldn't buy them for me, all of my friends parents did so I had ample opportunity to gorge myself on these when I would go over to people's houses. Traditionally, Oreos are large biscuits about the size of Jammie Dodgers I would say. They also make double-stuff Oreos which contain twice as much cream filling as regular Oreos. These mini-Oreos are quite new as they came out in around 2000.

One of my work colleagues brought a selection of treats back from the States recently and one of the things he brought back was a packet of these mini-Oreos. It was quite funny that he brought them all that way, though as these are available in our local Tesco's for £1 for a tub weighing 115 grams.

These biscuits taste just like the Oreos I used to eat as a child. They biscuit part is rich and crumbly and tastes ever so slightly bitter like dark chocolate. The cream filling, though, is very sweet and easily cuts through and complements the bitterness of the chocolate. The cream filling is quite thick and is more of a paste really than a cream. It isn't sticky so won't ooze out and go everywhere.

The two tastes of the biscuit and the cream go very well together even though as a child I used to twist open these biscuits, scrape off the cream with my teeth, and eat both parts separately. I think that would be impossible to do with biscuits this size but I wasn't going to try it in public in front of my work colleagues so I can't say whether it's possible or not!

A serving of these biscuits consists of 29 grams so about 1/5 of the tub you get from Tesco's. One serving contains 130 calories which I think is actually pretty good for an indulgent snack such as this. It isn't health food, though, as it is so high in sugar, but for an occasional treat you could do a lot worse.

                Try them :)

This first time I tried Oreos was in America when I was six and they were awesome!!

Then they introduced them to this country and then started making mini Oreos as well which is cool :)

I went into WH Smiths the other day to buy my friend a present for her birthday and the shop was selling a tub half price for only 75p from £1.50 so I had to have some!

Sold in a blue plastic tub (recycle please) covered with pictures of mini Oreos, the tub has a yellow plastic pop on lid...

Made by Kraft foods in the EU there are loads of different languages on the outside of the soft tub and the GB version says: 'Chocolate flavour sandwich biscuits with a vanilla flavour filling'.

Per 100g the calories are really high at 470 and the fats are 21g (which will stop my mum eating them, lol!) and they contain 5.7 g protein.

They contain flavouring and may contain nuts also, and there is 7% cocoa powder.

Each biscuit is two halves sandwiched together and the biscuits look nearly black the powder is that dark!

When you take them out of the tub after peeling back the silver foil seal the cocoa really gets on your chest - it is very dry and strong.
They are each about the size of a 10p and have a splodge of vanilla cream which is quite moist and sticks the little biscuits together.

The Oreos are very sweet and tasty yummy, to me they taste really natural with the chocolate flavour and not artificial at all. I really like hoe small and cute they are. Every biscuit has the Oreo name printed on it and a little flower design all the way round.

They taste strong and fresh and are really crunchy and dry - you need a drink with these!

The vanilla flavour is not too much but takes the strong taste of the biscuit away a bit.

Five stars from me, worth every penny for a sweet snack! :)

                  yum yum yum

The first time I ever tried Oreos was in america around ten years ago when my american aunt gave me a full pack with a glass of milk and they just tasted to differnt to any kind of biscuits back home and I totally loved them!

Every time a member of my family returned to America after that I always requested that they brought me back at least five packs! So as a teeneager I really enjoyed Oreos not really caring how many calories they carried, just knowing that this dark biscuit sandwich, with smooth milky and sweet centre was such a perfect part of my life.

When I reached my late teens and started to watch what I was eating, Oreos were not so high up on my importance list anymore and I stopped asking my family and friends to carry back amounts of my lovely little friend.
As time passed I knd of forgot about Oreos, until about two years ago or so when they became a regular shelf fixture in out supermarkets... and my addiction started again!

Yes, I could not resist this tasty little biscuit anymore, and the snack size tubs are perfection when you just didn't think you could get anymore perfect!
They are so light and easy to eat, it is easy to over induldge.

I am now however proud to say I am on my way to recovery so therefore this is the first time I have felt strong enough to write a review! lol

No but really, I dont go crazy but it is so easy...o so easy to do so.

                    Nabisco Mini Oreo's

                    Mini O R E O Cookies!!

Oreo's are some of my, no, probably my favourite cookies. They are originally an American cookie and have been produced by Nabisco, the giant food company in America since 1912. I ate them in the United States and am very excited that they have now started to become more main stream in England.

Normally I eat the regular size cookies but saw that they do mini Oreo's in a handy resealable tub pack and so decided to pick up a packet of these also. The oreo cookie is a smallish cookie which consists of two round chocolate biscuits held together by a gorgeous white creme filling. The biscuits on the outside have writing on them which give the biscuit a bit of texture. On their own they are quite a plain biscuit. They are not overly chocolatey in my opinion but mixed with the creme filling they have such a moorish taste. The creme filling is quite sweet and a bit sickly if you eat too many but that still does not stop me. I would describe the creme as having quite a fondant consistency.

The mini oreos are probably about a third of the size of regular Oreo cookies and here is where my problem lies. Of course they have the same taste and the same flavour but the smallness of them just does not do it for me. There is not enough in each small bite to satisfy my taste buds whereas they always do when they are in bigger form.

The tubs are 115g in weight which probably equates to about 20 to 30 mini oreo's although I have never counted them. I do think that they give you quite a substantial amount in the tub and are great for snacks. The clever thing about the tub is that it has a resealable lid so you can put them in your bag or have some for later but I would probably eat the contents of one of these tubs in one sitting. When you first open the tub there is also a foil lid you need to pull off which obviously ensures the freshness of the cookies inside.

Per 100g there are 470 calories and 21.5g of fat which is quite a bit but as these are a treat you can overlook this. In my opinion, still the great Oreo taste but I think I will stick to the originals.

                      Disadvantages

A great snack to keep you going when you next need your Oreo fix!

Despite how AMAZING Oreo Cookies taste, I can't help but feeling slightly let down with the Mini Oreos.
Like many others I picked 2 tubs of these up from WH Smith when they were on sale for 75p, which is a great price for these treats.
Personally, I find these cookies lack the full taste of the original cookies and actually seem to have the occasional salty taste to them. That said after you've munched your way through a few the expected Oreo taste does break through.
Unfortunately as the cookies are so small you can't successfully "Twist it, Lick it, Dunk it" but they are still great as a quick snack on the go.
The tub is really useful too, as its resealable (and you hopefully don't eat all the cookies in one go) it's a great way to keep the cookies fresh or store them for your next craving.
Overall the Mini Oreos are a great take on the original Oreo and although they aren't quite the real thing it's still a good attempt.

                      Advantages

                      Disadvantages

                      Ori you can finish then.

Despite a scathing article on WH Smiths I do still go in and occasionally buy a magazine as I can't seem to find anywhere else that sells "Boxing News" on a Friday morning on the way to work. Well this latest magazine purchase came at a time when I'd been under fed and as a result was relatively peckish. Oreo mini's were on the counter at an offer price of 82p, well can anyone really say no to that?

After my dearest Beezlebob advised me the regular ones were giving her orgasms, and remember I'd not had any form of Oreo in a for a good few months. So put them two reasons with the price, I couldn't resist bu snap them up to eat at work.

The tub contains 115g of the mini Oreo's in a blue blue tub with pictures of the snacks adorning the front scattered on the tub. The back has the nutritional information and a short description in about 12 languages, the British one saying "Chocolate flavour Sandwich biscuit with a vanilla flavour filling" and the ingredients. The tubs also have a yellow lid, well it was yellow after I wiped the dust off it with a tissue which was eventually covered in dirty brown marks from the dust. Rather poor by the shop to be honest to have filthy products on the shop floor, whether they'd been there for a while or not is a moot point, they should have been cleaner. Poor show Smith's. Under the lid is an "inner" foil lid to help keep them fresh and solid (and thankfully clean). When this is pulled off, it looks like a put noodle tub of mini biscuits.

For those familiar with Oreo's in their normal size the first thing that will strike you is that these are do go by the name of "mini" and you're likely (as is Sleezlebob) to think someone's having a laugh at the size of them. The normal sized ones are pretty normal sized sandwhich biscuits, these represent cereals in size. The Biscuits are 3 layers, 2 chocolate biscuit layers sandwiching a vanilla cream filling, and are prettily adorned with the word "OREO" and a pretty pattern on either side of the biscuit. It's all rather good looking and clever, though it's by far too small for a fat person like myself.

Now the cardinal sin, I've not got any milk in the office, so this means that their going to be eaten like any normal biscuit. As I'm sure we've all seen the advert, where the biscuits are twisted, licked, dipped in milk and finally put back together and eaten. Though these are probably too small to dip in milk without getting rather wet fingers.

So onto the taste, they taste quite similar to the Wheeto's cereal for those who've had them, or Cookie Crisp that are also similar in size. The chocolate has a cereal like taste (likely to be from the wheat in them) and totally over power the filling that you only get a taste of after the biscuit has been swallowed. The over powering taste of the biscuit kind of nullifies the need for the filling and so you might as well just get a normal chocolate biscuit type thing, or a chocolate wafer biscuit.

An oddity occurs whilst eating them, the biscuits leave remnants of brown dust on your fingers (and in the little tub), I'm assuming this is Cocoa powder but still rather odd that the biscuits would leave such a vast quantity of it behind.

The biscuits texture is crunchy yet smooth and nice in the mouth, though has the peculiar ability to stay in your mouth long after you've finished it. Resulting in an odd long lasting chocolate taste in your mouth, which I'm not sure Im a fan of or not.

To be honest my Sleezlebob is an easy girl to please, but then again that's why she loves me. Oreos are nice but by no means addictive or moreish lie she says. I had a few handfuls then put it back in my bag to be finished later, which isn't like me, who will try to finish as much as possible, as quickly as possible.

                      Summray:
Oreos can make my Ori Orgasm, but leave me less than satisfied. They won't be eaten in the bed time any time soon, despite my missus liking small ones.

                        Advantages

                        Disadvantages

A good variant on the original oreo, great for a snack

As i've previously reviewed the standard sized oreo's, i thought i may aswell give these mini versions a shot too. As with their larger counterparts, these mini oreos are now available to buy with much more ease in the UK and can often be found on promotion in supermarkets, which is even more of an incentive to buy them!

The basic anatomy of the mini oreo biscuits remains the same as the originals. There are two dark cocoa-y biscuits sandiwiching a filling of a white, sweet, butter creamy goodness. The balance between the slightly bitter biscuit component and the very sweet butter cream is just right and ensures the product is'nt overly sweet. These have a grown up taste about them, don't be fooled by the gimmicky mini aspect, as infact as they arent overly sweet, their probably more of a biscuit for adults taste buds rather than childrens.

The packaging of these mini oreos gives these a definate advantage over their larger counter-parts, coming in a re-sealable plastic pot rather than just the standard foil biscuit wrapping. This means you can enjoy a few as a snack and seal them back up without worrying about them going stale.

                        Advantages

                        Disadvantages

                        very edible

                        Yum oreos!
These little devils never last long in our house- why they made them in a resealable tub I shall never know maybe its to try and fool you into thinking you won't scoff the lot as you can reseal them?!

The ones I got were the 115g tub and they were on special offer of 59p a pot- something which should never bee done ha ha! There are about 30 ish small biscuits in the tub.

If you have ever had the regular oreos they are the same only miniature. Little nuggets of yumminess (I am sure thats a word!).

For the oreo virgins we have very edible dark looking chocolate biscuit on the bottom, a creamy white middle and the same kind of biscuit on the top.

Now traditionally you (meaning I) would dip the big brothers of these little fellas in milk and suck the milk out then eat the biscuit however you can't do that with these and this to my mind is its one and only downfall.
